Emge Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Coyle has been trying to sell Cahill all Summer. He needs to. They need to spend themselves but have no money. Everton have been told they need to sell before they buy. Well, lets hope Wenger is around to help them then!

Nelsta Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Wareing96 Mary Sarse by talkSPORTDrive We have agreed a fee with Bolton to sign Cahill. Paperwork on the way to Allen & Overy Solicitors,Should be completed in time for the Man U fingers crossed this is true.
BiggusLaddus Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Samba has never seemed to be Arsenal's first choice. It's the 11th hour bid from Spurs that I'm more worried about.
Hughesy Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Oh I do hope they take Cahill off them, massive loss for them! Hope the owner takes back most of the funds too
braddock Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Oh I do hope they take Cahill off them, massive loss for them! Hope the owner takes back most of the funds too Coyle would rather have the money than the player. I would rather they have the player than the money, especially considering how long he has on his contract. Another Elamander situation hopefully.
daveoftherovers Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Oh I do hope they take Cahill off them, massive loss for them! Hope the owner takes back most of the funds too Agreed, and I've heard he will, as they have to...
67splitscreen Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 reluctantnicko Alan Nixon @ @adam_quirk Sorry. Head bursting. Samba similar. But not Arsenal first choice. However Spurs are pests too. Don't count on him staying. Yet It's gonna be a Arry special you can just see this coming.
imy9 Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 IF he has no clause in his contract then the word the owners need to use a lot is NO! We have lost a lot of PL experience in the last few months cannot afford to lose Samba now.
T.J.Newton Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 dont know why hed want to go to spurs if its ambition motivating his will to move, there a bigger club and have the odd good season but there never going to win the prem league or champs league and hes just as much chance of winning a domestic cup with blackburn than spurs, any move to spurs would just be to boost his ego ala david bentley.
Brfcrule1 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I think someone needs to remind Samba the grass is not always greener on the other side and he should take a leaf out of Brett Emerton's book if you stay loyal for long enough you get rewarded in the end all this talk of being grumpy is no excuse if you don't get your move you knuckle down and do the job your paid to I doubt arsenal will come will with a satisfactory bid they have just tried tried to get Cahill for 6M that Arsene is such a tight skin flint am more worried about spurs though.
Ozz Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 This LET link and the quote from Kean-“If someone hits that number then the club would look at it and then they would make a decision over whether it would be accepted or not."-Sounds like we have in effect put a release price on his head.
SergioPeter89 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 That is just stupid. Steve Kean should have said to him that we have a price, and if someone bid over that price BEFORE the season start, then we will let you go. If we sell Samba on deadline day without bringing in any replacement, we might aswell begin planning for Wankership next season...
philipl Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Kean is his agent's creature. Of course he is more interested in transfer activity than Rovers.
artemorethanlabore Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Sounds like he doesn't have a say - id the price is high enough it's out of his hands.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Lose Samba and it will be the coupe de grace as regards our Premiership survival.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 That is just stupid. Steve Kean should have said to him that we have a price, and if someone bid over that price BEFORE the season start, then we will let you go. If we sell Samba on deadline day without bringing in any replacement, we might aswell begin planning for Wankership next season... Saying it and getting Samba/Samba's agent to accept it are completely different things. Wobbly chops will be in with a dirty last minute bid, put your mortgage on it.
Hughesy Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Nobody will hit that price - and that is why Kean is talking about it.
T4E Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Spurs might be feeling like they have no other choice given how their first two games have gone.
roverandout Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 i honestly think he will be gone come wednesday night, would you want to stick around with a team that isnt up to your standards when you could be playing european football every season?
Emge Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Spurs and Arsenal has let in 13 goals in total today. Both want Samba in one way or the other. We should be nervous now! Wenger has alot of money on his hands. Redknapp, unless he sells Modric I dont think spurs can afford Samba tbh!
Exiled_Rover Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 It's almost nailed on that he's leaving at this point isn't it?
steve mack Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 with arsenal losing 8-2 will wenger now come in for samba
67splitscreen Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Spuds the bigger threat IMO, third choice allegedly for Le'Arse.
philipl Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Both north London sides need Samba far more than any other possibly available central defender. What an awful time for both of them to run up against the Mancunian jugernauts.
