It's Landan though. We lost McBride to Fulham because they're based in Landan.

Samba has far bigger fish to fry. Despite what that fool on MOTD2 said, Samba would walk into several top six sides. Arsenal or Spurs, for instance, would be far stronger for his presence. At least Fulham were an established Prem club, QPR aren't even that. And we're talking about a player we already have, doing excellently at the club, who wants to make a big step forwards nearer the end of his career, rather than a player who was making a choice between two similar clubs to be decided on any slim margin, both of whom were already a big step up on Columbus Crew.

They have a couple of players who would walk into our team but can't get a game at spurs. A swap deal could be an option if he's definitely going. Krancjaer and pinaar are both on their way out.

The problem would be convincing those players to walk into the disaster-zone that is Venky's FC.

I don't believe for one second that Samba would go to QPR, why would he switch from one relegation battling club to another, he's still looking for his big move and with the greatest of respects to QPR this is a step down. Also could QPR offer him better wages than he's on at the moment, I doubt it.

Since it's the local journalist it's a wish list thing. and I'm not sure samba would jump at the chance of playing for Newcastel just yet, good though their early season form was - there might be better offers around than that if he holds on.

Samba doesnt fit the profile for newcastle. Newcastles buying strategy has to purchase foreign players with low wage demands and high potential resale. Samba would want high wages and would be expensive. Junior toilet on the other hand might fit the model

I've seen figures of £6m for Samba. That's got to be rubbish. How much did we pay for Dann...... he's not fit to lace Samba's boots. Samba must not be allowed to go. He is our best and most consistent player. We will condemning ourselves to relegation if we allow him to leave.

£6m? You're having a laugh. He's easily worth £10m.

40% of which gets passed on to Hertha Berlin doesn't it? Not the deal to free up cash for strengthening - even assuming there is no hands in the till for the chicken-fondlers, our manager and his agent. Selling at 10 mill less than 4 would end up reinvested at beat

Well spurs are again reputed to want him so could start a bidding war as long as there's no clause that someone magically knows about.
