It's time to just get rid of him. We've had our moneys worth and his bitching on top of every thing else is helping no one - apart from Samba and his agent.

Thats fine as long as he goes for what we or venkys think he is worth not what he thinks is good business.

Thats what annoys me the most, that he thinks 7 million is an ok amount and the club should accept it - Its not up to him to decide, if he wanted to go and went about trying to get a good move quietly it would be ok. But the way he kicks up a fuss is ridiculous if kean was trying to sign somone who had been acting like samba and threatening that he wont give 100% percent if he doesnt get his wish I wouldnt want him and would be firmly against it.

So I dont see how samba thinks this will help, If a top club wanted him they would have come along with a decent bid and just took him from us at will as usual.

He has been one of my favourite players but he is starting to get annoying.

I'm sick to death of Samba doing this. Every bloody window he's at it moaning and getting his army of agents to stir things up in the gutter press. It's tempting to say 'sod it good riddance' but I don't want us to give in.

Venkys don't seem to like being messed about where outgoing transfers are concerned so poor Samba might just have to suck it up until the summer at least.

Tough.

How the hell has he put his body on the line - has he been fighting in Afghanistan or something? He has blocked a few shots (which he is paid to do btw) and cleared the ball by heading and kicking it a long way from our goal. What a drama queen. This is a guy who has had phantom injuries in recent transfer windows because he didn't get his own way. Get shut because I never want to see him in our famous blue and white shirt again.

He is typical of the modern day spoilt brat type of footballer who, if he can't get his own way runs to the media and makes a drama out of the whole situation. I used to admire him but now he can do one to whoever pays the most money.

It seems couples therapy isn't going to work. He has been lied to as have we many times. We are just as ###### off with the owners and some have already "divorced" themselves from the stands. English isn't his first language so I guess his got his wording mixed up a bit but I don't blame him for wanting to leave. I'd take 7-10m and then use that to bring in some well needed bodies in these final days of the window.

Oh well, maybe wobble chops* can make an offer instead of flapping his gums and Samba can be the latest to watch his career go down the gurgler at tottingham.

*before he starts his bird of course.

I have much sympathy with Samba.

Just like the fans, he has been let down, badly, by, IMO, the clowns who pupport to be owners and a management team.

Toys out the pram, yes, but feckin hell, do we all not despair at what is now going on at what is often referred to as 'the circus'.

Good luch Chris and thanks for the memory.

IMO, the real villains are Venky's & Kean - at least we got relatively little shyte from JW & Sam.

Samba was at this before Venkys and Kean came along.

end of the day he is contracted to us for another 4 years. He was nothing before Hughes bought him. He only needs to be involved in 10% of games for us to be able to retain him without breaching his contract. I say we let him rot now for the rest of the season in the reserves and then next season play him in the minimum amount of games again to not be in breach of contract then do the same again in the reserves. He will soon change his tune.

It says a lot about the man that he isn't prepared to stop till may to put it in for the relegation battle ......

Why should he ? He's as sick of the lies and deceit at Ewood as supporters, another club wants him and he wants a move that might not be available in the summer. Fans can say he should leave but the truth is his departure will be a huge blow to our hopes of staying in this league. And don't expect the circa £7m to be spent on a replacement; the money will be used to pay down the debts built up by Venky's. I suspect the transfer has already been agreed and it will go ahead on deadline day.

Couldn't agree more, under normal circumstances I'd be hammering Samba, but like Jim says, he's been lied to like we all have. I’m glad he’s spoken out, we need more senior players doing the same, the national media thinks it’s the fans that are the issue, they couldn’t be more wrong......

Excuses, excuses and lies. Before the Arsenal game he was telling us not to protest and back the owners. And that was after the August window and then days into the January window he kicks off again. Now he is using this as an excuse to go. He can't have it both ways.

Absolutely no sympathy from me.

Gav, I dont reckon you believe that Samba is doing this in order to have the finger of blame pointed in the right direction. You know as well as I do that he is doing this for himself as he has been doing every window for the last two or three years. Fair enough, I know he's a professional but even so he has consistantly demonstrated zero integrity.

He signed a fat contract when it suited and now he is using our plight to engineer his way out.

He signed a fat contract because he made the mistake of believing Venky.s Now he can see their "ambition" is nothing more than spin and lies he wants to go. He deserves to.

I haven't got a problem with the majority of those comments. We have wanted the players to speak out for a while now about how rubbish Venky's are. Big Chris has now done that.

What I don't agree with is him saying he is no longer committed to the club. You get paid huge sums of money, so you are paid to be committed to the club.

Well said. Villians are Venkys here.
