pick32 Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I said it recently. Id look to sign both of them at 10m Pounds or just under I think it would be. Would be a quality CM partnership. They would be alot cheaper than that Bradley is available for 2.5million but Aston Villa declined the option to sign him.
Amo Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 God,these players really do love themselves! First you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the women.
BiggusLaddus Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Unless you can do that tongue thing properly, they go crazy for it
A cup of beans Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 God,these players really do love themselves! i was impressed. much more style and imagination than most footballer's personal sites. Unless you can do that tongue thing properly, they go crazy for it yes they do!
promoted2001 Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 His Personal website I saw the photo and expected the music from the Rocky frachise.
Stuart Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 His Personal website I'm trying to work out why he's got Hoilett's nickname tattooed on his chest when his missus looks like that!! Shame there are no Rovers pics but gotta love the Rovers badge at the bottom right.
chaddyrovers Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Rovers Snubbed In Second Loan Attempt For Jones Why are we looking to loan him again. we should be buying him if we want him or are we going for Witsel instead. Nicko did not write the article either
roverandout Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 clearly rovers dont rate him enough to want to pay what schalke want for him, i say let him go to roma and find someone better and younger
leerovers1980 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Rovers Snubbed In Second Loan Attempt For Jones back to normal then ,loans and freebies
Tim Southampton Rover Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Why we trying to get Jones on loan again? Yet more mucking around by our transfer team when we all know that it was either buy him or he'll get sold elsewhere. Trying to get him on loan again is just a waste of time for everybody.
Hi Mack Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Rovers Snubbed In Second Loan Attempt For Jones I just cant see this being true.....Why would Schalke even contemplate this? they gain nothing!
47er Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 If we truly had 50M or 30M to spend we wouldn't be ****ing around like this looking for a loan. very worrying this.
Teacup Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Why are we trying to loan him? They probably want more than our owners are willing to pay, so Kean is scrambling to do anything to keep a hold of him and stop him going elsewhere.
Torgeir Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Probably because he represents no resale value, so we might as well loan him. Better to spend transfer fees on younger players with potential. Seems sensible to me if we could pull it off. Realistic to get another loan? No.
Teacup Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 If we truly had 50M or 30M to spend we wouldn't be ****ing around like this looking for a loan. very worrying this. No matter which way you look at it, it is worrying. We either have the money but our owners don't trust the managers instinct to purchase him and keep him around. We have no money. Or Schalke just want to much and someone thinks we can find better.. Or?
Aussie Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Blackburn-snubbed-in-attempt-to-loan-Jermaine-Jones-from-Schalke-a-second-time-and-told-to-sign-him-permanently-article755966.html Says here we asked to loan J.Jones for next season but Schalke turned us down. Not surprised that was turned down, no benefit to them to loan him out when there are still other clubs interested in him as well.
Hughesy Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Nothing wrong with trying a second loan....like some have always said he's getting older and he has had injuries...we might be trying loan with view to buy perhaps?
roverandout Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 or the owners are too cheap to cough up the dough, though on this occasion i agree with them.
Hughesy Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 If rumours of £6-8m we heard before are true....then you cant blame us for trying it. Kamy - you said you had heard Mrs D had sorted the clan out, when do we start to make moves?
Hi Mack Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Nothing wrong with trying a second loan....like some have always said he's getting older and he has had injuries...we might be trying loan with view to buy perhaps? What would you say if Galatasaray came in and said can we loan MGP? From our side there is no point! A little bit insulting if you ask me!
Torgeir Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 What would you say if Galatasaray came in and said can we loan MGP? From our side there is no point! A little bit insulting if you ask me! £1m for a season, plus pay his wages. Another £1.5m to buy him after the season. Done.
