herbergeehh Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Paraguay u17 Captain, already signed according to The Mirror.

Looks like a handy youngster, physically solid and a natural playmaker. I like the way he does it simple when he can, instead of always trying the the perfect through-pass. David Pizarro, watch out.

<a href=" class="bbc_url" title="">Rodrigo Baez

bennyboyt11 Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Another promising youngster joining the club, welcome aboard. I don't think we'll see him in the first team for a few seasons yet but if he turns out to be a starter for us then it's good business.
bennyboyt11 Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Think someone said it's a 6 figure sum, but will rise depending on appearances.

Hekla Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Welcome, it is a good sign that we are signing young players. Excellent strategy by the club.
67splitscreen Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 999,999 rising to 1,000,000 in his 21st birthday.
Hughesy Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Asked someone on twitter from Paraguay about him he had this to say - @SergioLahaye "He was Captain of the PAR U17 side recently. Right/centre mid. likes to get forward. Should do well with strikers to aim at. needs time to develop and adapt to the new lifestyle. But you've got him early, big advantage."
bluebruce Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Been thinking about why we haven't announced this lad, and it occurred to me- in most South American countries, can't a player only leave the country to play abroad when they reach 18? I'm not sure if this is different when the family goes with them (though often a family isn't going to want to do that).
Commondore Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 The new regime seems to keep their word when it comes to bringing in players from around the globe for the future. Excellent work, now let's focus on the first team!

No PAPR still do the PR.... I think anything Hunt wants to say via interviews etc will be checked by Paul Agnew 1st.
