heysham rover
I think playing football the right way with the correct personnel as outlets on the wing and upfront will garner good results, playing it with Roberts up front wont. Hopefully we are addressing this
Mc Love
Yeah they are wearing GPS trackers and heart rate monitors, pretty common practice now. It's a load of ######, are they allowed use them in competitive matches, and roberts is poor, dont see what koko sees in him

Wilsbowski
Surely we should be making some subs around now?! (I am watching on Sky Go so probably a few minutes behind so apologies if this has already happened)
Neal
Formica looks a right player. Very impressed. Will find it tough at times but the lad can play. Seriously lacking up front.
heysham rover
It's a load of ######, Not sure where you get this idea from, they are a really good way of testing fitness and catching players who are shirking in training and games. It also highlights weaknesses in players in terms of recovery, what their max output is etc. Id say that was pretty important when looking at players developments. Backroom Tom Posted July 27, 2011 Backroom Share Posted July 27, 2011 Out of interest would people rather play Chelsea or the Hong Kong team regardless of winning the tournament? Chelsea would be a good test I suppose but we'd get battered
RevidgeBlue
Not a bad performance thus far but without Hoillet on the pitch we lack any real cutting edge. We need three strikers. Formica looks promising. Reassuring to see that some things never change and that Pedersen is still gash. Wish I'd had a fiver for every time he's given the ball away. Samba still our main man all over the pitch.

Gav
And another great ball by Formica I'm getting Gato Fever! Not sure which of our illustrious members informed us last season that Formica looked like he’d never played football before, but either he’s improved beyond all recognition, or they were watching a different player. Yeah it should be kept for training, friendlies, but dont think it's good for competitive matches. Just saw 5 rovers fans whoo.

heysham rover
at this stage of preseason its really important to see how players are fairing in competitive matches, in terms of their individual periodisation you can pinpoint exact areas they dip and work on this. Doesn't prozone normally monitor the yards covered, etc? Can't say I've heard of them wearing it in other games, but it just may not have been mentioned.
