Wednesday 27 july Rovers vs Aston Villa. kick off at 11am then Cheslea vs Kitchee at 2pm

Saturday 30 July 3rd place playoff final kick off at 11am then the final kick off at 2pm

If Rovers win we will play in the final, if we lose we will play in the 3rd playoff final.

As things stand at the moment I can see Rovers being embarassed in this competition. Unless we can get the new players signed up and playing before then.

This competition and how Rovers apply themselves could be extremely important for Venky's and Rovers. If Rovers do badly then who will want to invite Rovers for such competitions again. Do well and the commercial prospects could be huge. It would help spread interest in Rovers overseas.

Rovers need to sign the players NOW so as to hit this competition as well as the premiership running.

Apparently we have only sold 30 tickets for this tournament.

My wife just been to pick our tickets up and they club have set us a row apart and 20 odd seats for the second game . Well done ticket office :tu:.

Im not sure if steb included mee in his 8 but i also booked mine direct, in the cheap seats.

That does sound like sommat ticket office would do!!

We are in block 111.

Pretty annoyed to be honest. This trip is our honeymoon and they can't even manage to stick two seats together. We are sitting next to each other on any of the days. Luckily we will know pretty much everyone on the trip - so should get to move.

I thought I heard somewhere that it was unreserved seating.

The tickets the club were selling were reserved seating. All others behind the goal and that, are all unreserved.

Got our tickets. Just the one for the two of us for each day. Apparently its because its disabled and carer although there weren't any concessions. Main West Stand Block 129 says VIP on them lol.

Just seen an advert on sky for the Asia trophy with us on next Wednesday 10.30 am. I honestly can't believe we're going to this tournament not having signed anybody and a more depleted squad than what we had on the last game of the season.

Surely one of the reasons of this tournament is to showcase your new signings. Along with advertisng yourself in Asia. I find it quite embarrassing that we're going and surely we're going to struggle. It also won't look good on venkys will it?

I would, and have twice before.

Looking forward to sampling some of Wanchais finest ales - and Carlserg.

I suspect most people are going for a well earned break and to see Rovers. Without Rovers being there I doubt so many people from the board would be going.

I have also been to HKG many times and its a great city but this is a Rovers messageboard and not tripadvisor.com.

I was going to take the Wednesday off, but decided to go to work as I can't be bothered to watch. I'm more interested, in how the start of the season goes for us
