oh please no, hopefully a defence coach role like tony warner lol, this transfer window getting embarrassing , Myles Anderson ,Tony warner and now portanova, is this what venkys call signings to get the fans excited , cause im not excited

Agree surely you will not firm up any interest, just an average central defender. If you are after a Bologna player Gaston Ramirez is your man.Tottenham,Liverpool,Inter,Udinese,Roma,Seville,Dortmund,Bayern all keen.

Huber likes his Italian football i've been told so expect more Italians to be linked.

Me neither, he is a very fortunate Bunny and whatever we think of hime as a manager, he knows full well if he quit Rovers, there would be very little out there for him!!

I dont think there'd be much out there for us either..

If we cant keep Steve Kean interested in staying then what does that say about the state of our club..?

Reading the names above, it really is looking like our worst nightmare unfolding before our eyes.

How bad are those names.

Warner is appalling FFS!

Here I was hoping we could sign someone like DeGea or Brad as our 3rd keeper/youth coach... I'd put the over/under on his first team appearances at about 0.

the past few days the transfer market seams to be hotting up and teams are going for there targets, teams are more or less all back at pre season the next few days and still we have no bids in or even looking like making bids, kean said he would like to get most of his business done before they meet up for pre season, what the hell have they been doing behind the seen's at rovers, they couldn't organise a ###### up in a brewery, its a complete joke and shambles what i've seen unfold the past few weeks, something I would expect by a very poorly run amateur business, shouldn't there big mega plan have been sorted and agreed weeks ago

I missed it earlier but we've been in contact with the agent of...

DANIELE PORTONOVA!?!?!

Where's my noose?

Guess we all missed it then.. not linked with him as far as I know (32yr old drop out who did ok).. linked with wham a few years back.. Dario Canovi is his agent, and can't see any of his players neither.

We really need to snare a credible transfer target, and fast. This is becoming farcical.

Myles Anderson, Tony Warner, little-known Italian defender. What do they all have in common?

Champions League football?

Oh actually, the answer is not playing in the champions league, just like we won't be.

All unfortunately appear to be at the the top end of the 'Kean pulling power'...?

Wonder how all those posters are beginning to feel now, who slated Philipl initially, when he posted about the performance of Kentaro at Man City.

Arsenal have signed Carl Jenkinson, Fulham have signed Dan Burn, Liverpool haven't signed a 'few' they've signed Jordan Henderson @£20m, Man United have signed one of the country's most promising and league ready defenders from us in Phil Jones, England winger Ashley Young and the best young goal keeper in Europe in David De Gea..that's a good 'few', Norwich have signed four players whether you care or not (you should unless you think we're a shoe in for the top 10 next season), Spurs have signed Rover's legend Brad Freidel, West Brom have made two signings and Wolves have signed Jamie O'Hara and De Vries. Also, none of the teams have lost 4 match day squad players like us (RSC, Phil Jones, J.Jones, Benjani) as well has having two other key players' futures in doubt (Samba and Hoilett). You are also forgetting that many of those clubs have also puts bid in or are in negotiations unlike Rovers who are yet to even turn on the fax machine.

I get your point, and to some degree you do have one but why spoil it by skewing the facts?

Ok, I missed a few. I bet fulham fans are well excited about burn and arsenal fans believe jenkinson will make them title winners? Why don't you include warner or mYles anderson in your footer of players signed? By my count we have twice as many players as spurs and arsenal! I also didn't mention the quality of the players signed. Which players out of that list do you think rovers should or could have signed.

I think you are missing the.slap in the face obvious point.

Not one of them have owners that for the last transfer window, and for the start of this one, have been promising the earth and have delivered what a cat buries in it.
