It's sensationalist? I must have been reading a different article.

I don't know who Rovers have bid for but there is plenty to suggest in several sources that Rovers are having difficulties getting players in. The most clear examples of that are that the manager was expecting 1-2 names in before pre-season started (hasn't been achieved) and Venky's in the past couple of days playing down the stature of the targets Rovers are after- Not after 'big names' but players with potential. There is the Jones example as well but that was expected after Kean's idiotic comments about how much Jones was worth the day after his debut.

anyone who thinks we can go into the new season with the one we had from last season needs their heads checking, that team has bottom 5 written all over it, to be honest i wouldnt pay with my p*ss to watch that side. Not looking forward to the new season, im honestly dreading it even though i will be there in the blackburn end. Got a bad feeling its going to be relegation or close to it UNLESS some quality players are brought in. I know some of you will lambast me for saying all this but thats how i feel at the moment.

well we all have are opinions , and im willing to give them a chance and your not , but people like you will find something wrong with everything, if we went out tomorrow and spent 30 million you would find a negative out of that, lets just see what comes out of this transfer window and then I will judge them

the one thing i don't get, how come nicko is the only journalist who has picked up on all this and no other paper has bothered publishing so much negativity against Blackburn and there troubles there having signing players, i think ever since the article about the 45 million war chest( as nicko put it) he has had some kind of grudge against rovers and just wanting to print negativity against us

He's been saying things I don't want to hear for quite a while now, but used to be quite straight forward and unbiased in his Mirror articles. It does seem to be a bit of a coincidence that, his information seemed to have become significantly less reliable recently, he has stopped posting here (because a post was deleted ?!), and is now referring to us as having a transfer crisis.

How many teams have made signings so far in the prem? like 3 or so, we lost out on Witsel who has'nt even signed for Benfica yet, and we must replace 4 yes FOUR players we have lost, 3 of them were loan players but hey ho.

If we can muster one player of JJ's quality this summer that will do for me and Venky's managed that without one newspaper reporting it, to me it seems that they like things to be on the hush hush, not many journo's would agree with that.

I swear nicko is trolling Rovers for some petty reason atm. Maybe he has lost his contacts, maybe he feels he has been made to look foolish with the £50 million stories. Whatever, he is certainly now adding snide shots at the club in his stories which he never used to do.

I dont believe Jones was our star player, I believe he was an upcoming youngster who will probably become one of the best English defenders for many years to come, but as for last season he made mistakes as did Nelson as did Samba as did Hanley as did Givet, Jones is years younger which makes him a better prospect than the others because he is at their level now at his age, that does'nt make him a star player for us last season.

It really burns me to see the lack of credit JJ got while he was at the club, his contribution was huge, his midfield engine was fantastic, if he was'nt breaking up play and getting behind the ball he was opening teams up by moving into space and dragging players out of position.

We have Rochina, Formica and Hoillet who can play the second striker role, for me we need a quality striker, an all round midfielder, and a good central defender, someone who will walk into our team giving Hanley a chance to play the odd few games and develop his talent.

I'm quite happy about Nixons article. People on here are moaning about how they want answers and players signed, i think the media leaning on them a bit could help. Would maybe get us get some answers and kick start some transfers to prove doubters wrong. Nixon must have a soft spot for the club and i think he's doing all concerned a favor by showing the regime up a bit.

I just hope come next week when they come back new players come in but for anyone lambasting the owners before the transfer window closes is unfair however it was reported recently about how transfer lists were scrapped & how different people in certain areas of the club tried signing players behind SK's back suggests to me there is no smoke without fire can only hope when SK returns to the UK next week players start to arrive.

his passing was inconsistent and a bit of a liability with late tackles, hes alright, but not THAT good!
