Blind faith and optimism is not my strongpoint tooogs.

I'm not renewing until I see what the outcome of this transfer window holds and even then I'm very unsure about renewing or not. The club appears to be heading for the buffers with the throttle wide open imo. Kean and the Venkey mob couldn't attract a moth with a searchlight never mind a top line player. There is no one at the club any more with the experience or nous to deal with new players terms or negotiate with their agents.

Dodgy though they undoubtedly are I've come to believe that our best hope lies with Kentaro...... How scary's that?

No more than the trust did..what happened to all the transfer money we got while they ran things? We have no choice but to give the Venkey's a chance.

I'm renewing my season ticket on Wednesday in good faith that come the first game of the season we will be stronger then our last outing at Wolves.

Blind faith and optimism is not my strongpoint tooogs.

Not renewing at £250 or so, I just dont get it, Blackburn Rovers are my club and I will be at Ewood supporting them come what may, not only if we sign so and so or if so and so leaves, hated the football under BFS but still went every game and thats not gonna change whoever is in charge!

Well said. That is no reason to not renew your ticket

By the end? The money went to pay down debts as the club became pretty much self sufficent. Peronally,I believe this was not what Jack would have wished for, even though he SUPPOSEDLY 'wanted the club to wash its own face', however I feel he would have changed tihs stance (thats if he ever actually said it).

Now, unless Venky's are going to pump in SERIOUS amounts of money for transfer fees, things arent going to change much from the Trust era. And as I don't think they have the resources to bankroll us, what has been the point of this whole escapade?

Not renewing at £250 £395 or so, I just dont get it, Blackburn Rovers are my club and I will be at Ewood supporting them come what may, not only if we sign so and so or if so and so leaves, hated the football under BFS but still went every game and thats not gonna change whoever is in charge!

Venkeys have take away an awful lot of pride that I had in the club. Any hope to punch above our weight in the Prem disappeared with Allardyce. Paying blindly out for a ST is as good as giving them a huge vote of confidence and a licence to continue along their stupid downward path. Anybody who has done is either an eternal optimist, of ovine intellect or a mug. Delete as appropriate.

Anyone who is able to afford it should hang their head in shame for not renewing at £250, simple as that stockholmmonster, no debate needed, they're clearly not real fans, they're fans looking for an easy way out, but don't have the bottle to admit it.

I have been feeling the same, as I eluded to earlier Venkys appear to be getting worse the longer they own us. I can accept mistakes being made but not on a repetitive basis.

Also agree on the Kentaro aspect, in this situation we find ourselves in, with a real lack of quality in relation to personnel on/off the pitch they could aid with incoming transfers.

A mug for renewing? Doubtful. I'm a supporter of BRFC, not Venky's. High time you remembered that before turning this thread into yet another anti-venky's thread.

What sort of great supporter are you pontificating and moralising up to me from not only the cheapest seats in the ground but the cheapest in the bloody country? At least I can take the moral high ground here of paying out for years virtually twice what you manage to scrape together every season.

Gobbing off about 'real' fans and 'bottle' makes you sound childish and immature. Please note that where I choose to spend my money is not your concern.

Come on. I don't think you're wrong in not renewing your ticket - only you yourself have the right to decide whether you want to renew your ticket or not.

But calling those who have done so an eternal optimist of ovine intellect or a mug is going overboard.

Our owners have changed from the Trust to Venkys, and if Kamy is hitting close to the facts, we might have yet another new owner soon. Doesn't change the fact that Blackburn Rovers will always be Blackburn Rovers, no matter who our owners are. Protest against Venkys if you want, but support the club Blackburn Rovers in whatever way you can.

At the moment we are weaker than last season when we avoided relegation by the skin of our teeth.

Our best players in the run in were Jones, Jones, Samba and Hoillett. How many of them will be in blue and white halves come Sept 1st?

The infrastructure of the club has been decimated. We have lost so many skilled and competent people its untrue. At least five imo have walked into better jobs I don't know about the rest. Who have we replaced them with?

Sorry Black Burn but actions speak louder than words and until we see action in the right direction from the owners (and we've seen precious little of anything sensible from them to date) I do not feel my description is unjust.

How do you split them in your mind K-Hod? When you write a cheque to BRFC you might as well put Venkeys at the top.

I thought we should support Blackburn Rovers no matter who the owners are, how dire our situation is, how many games we lost, what players we have, etc.

We don't support Blackburn Rovers because they win every game or because we got some awesome players in our squad. If we did that, we might as well support one of the big four.

I'm not saying you have to renew your ticket - surely how you spend your money and what decisions you make should be justifiable only to yourself and not others, but I don't think the others are wrong in renewing their tickets either.

Right ok so if what you believe is true then we are getting relegated next season.

If we are going to be weaker come the start of the season then surely our best chance of staying up is by having a massive home support.

The Bolton game last season at Ewood.. what a response and what a noise after that Olsson goal.. you think the players didn't notice that!?

Fine we are on a slippery slope.. but the fans can throw out a rope.

Get down there.. support the club and maybe we'll avoid this 'fate' you believe we have.

Signings or no signings.. BRFC is OUR club and we should SUPPORT the lads irrelevant of who is pulling the strings.

Sorry Ricky..

I do think to generate some excitement for the sales we need a signing soon.

I do worry for sales if that signing is Robbie Keane.

Would love to see us back linked with someone that can bring excitement to Ewood.. however difficult.

I'm off away for 2 weeks next Tuesday.. very excited to catch up on 2 weeks of news at once..

Come on VENKY's!!!
