What sort of great supporter are you pontificating and moralising up to me from not only the cheapest seats in the ground but the cheapest in the bloody country? At least I can take the moral high ground here of paying out for years virtually twice what you manage to scrape together every season.

Gobbing off about 'real' fans and 'bottle' makes you sound childish and immature. Please note that where I choose to spend my money is not your concern.

Agreed, however when you call fans who do "eternal optimist, of ovine intellect or a mug", what sort of response did you expect?

Venkeys have take away an awful lot of pride that I had in the club. Any hope to punch above our weight in the Prem disappeared with Allardyce. Paying blindly out for a ST is as good as giving them a huge vote of confidence and a licence to continue along their stupid downward path. Anybody who has done is either an eternal optimist, of ovine intellect or a mug. Delete as appropriate.

I renewed on day one. Suppose that makes me a mug. I am not a supporter of venkys, but a supporter of Blackburn rovers. I don't care, I will go home and away unless working on a Saturday morning. Saturdays or which ever day we play on would be pretty boring if I didn't go and will continue as long as I can afford to do so and work does not get in the way. Sorry if this is off topic

Sometimes you just leave people off trips to give them the message. Look what Man City are doing with their leper colony.

Who is on the leper list at Man C? Are City just leaving these players to train separately from the first team? Seems like a massive waste of money.

I thought we should support Blackburn Rovers no matter who the owners are, how dire our situation is, how many games we lost, what players we have, etc.

We all support Blackburn Rovers. Plenty hate what Venky's are doing to us. Don't give us this "support your club" garbage. Many people who aren't happy with Venky's - pretty well every rovers supporter there is - have been supporting the club all the way through this sorry mess, and still are supporting the club, probably will do longer than you possibly ever will.

Think its RSC, Bellamy, Onuha, Given, Bridge, Jo, caicedo and SWP

You've quoted me out of context - I was responding to thenodrog's assertion that we stop renewing our season tickets if Venkys are destroying the club. He was criticizing those who had renewed their season tickets and I was suggesting perhaps that's why they are renewing their tickets as opposed to being optimists or mugs.

I am aware that every Rovers supporter above the age of ten have been supporting the club longer than I possibly ever will. Doesn't make my point any less valid. Unless you're saying I'm wrong and that we should follow thenodrog's example and stop renewing season tickets.

Kevin Gallacher is watching the Copa America and he says the Kev Cruickshank is over there scouting for Rovers. ]Who is he watching? Hope it isnt just RSC

Why the hell would he be scouting RSC. The club knows what he can do. Surely he is looking at other possibilities.

I can fully appreciate in what you are saying Black Burn but I ask you this, despite protests on here, emails etc to Pune, these have been met with a stony silence or false promises, how else I ask you do we as supporters let our owners know we dont want them, they have totally wrecked out club, ripped the heart out of it and rid itself of many very good and loyal employees.

They are viewed by many as not just inept but plain stupid and as each week passes, we await the next foolish decision which makes things even more difficult for our club to recover from.

I think you are misunderstanding me here. I'm not saying those who don't renew their tickets are not fans. I'm not saying we shouldn't protest by sending emails to Pune or protest here.

I was merely defending the reasons why some people choose to renew their season ticket as opposed to thenodrog. I'm not saying thenodrog is wrong - he is very much justified in his decision to do so. But I'm saying those who choose to renew their season tickets are also justified in doing so and therefore are not optimists with little intellect or mugs. That's all.

Everyone supports the club in a different way. Some take it out to the streets, some spam Venkys, some protest and demonstrate in the stadium, some try to become billionaires to buy back the club, some keep the faith and continue believing, some renew their seasonal tickets. Who's to say which way of supporting is wrong? I think we all have our different way of supporting the club and just because some fans choose to be optimistic doesn't mean they should get the stick for it. They are as justified in believing as those are justified in protesting. We all love the club - but show different ways of our affection. None of which are wrong.

Sure, Venkys may look stupid and inept now, maybe they'll come through maybe they won't. It's good if some of us protest, it's good if some of us keep the faith.

What's bad is when someone else begins criticizing others for having a different way of supporting the club. Like den said, we are all supporters. We just show different ways of supporting the club.

By the way, didn't Alan Nixon already rubbish the Santa Cruz rumors a while back? He said there were two other clubs bidding for Santa Cruz and offering ridiculous amounts of money. I could have remembered wrongly then.

Theno is saying that he wont renew until he sees some change from the owners. He's also said he might pay game by game. You take him up on this though Black Burn and say that if you're a supporter you should buy a season ticket.

Why? There are plenty of Rovers fans who don't buy season tickets for various reasons. You/we really can't be telling anyone they should buy a ST.

I think one thing we can all agree on, based on the last few weeks, is that nobody knows what the hell is going on anymore. I personally think we'll try and sign him again once he returns from the Copa America. He likes it at Blackburn, our staff and players like him and I don't believe any other team is willing to take such a big risk in signing him for a fee + big wages.

before the mods clamp down, i want to add my two pennysworth in, i am paying for a season ticket but this is NOT a thumbs up the the venkys or kean, i am loath to be there next season but i am going to be there all the same. I wont acknowledge kean at any match ie, chant his name, nor will i be chanting RSC's name if he is signed. I will be there, in any blind hope, that by then, we will have signed some good, yes good, players, if not then i am expecting the worst and that even means wolves beating us on the opening game of the season. Let me add again, venkys are dead to me and i will pretend that we are still owned by the trust.

Good lord, when did I say that if you're a supporter you should buy a season ticket?

I said that thenodrog is justified in not buying a season ticket, did I not? And read my previous post on the previous page, the one just before your post on this page. It's the last one.

It seems that you have completely misunderstood me.

Rumours on twitter from one guy who claims to be in the know, dont know anything about his sources so just worth mentioning his names....

Witsel

#Rovers still hoping to sign Witsel on loan

#Rovers have offered £4m + 20% sell on to Standard OR season long loan. Player wants to join but worried Benfica will move on if not agreed

Malbranque

Steed Malbranque to sign for #Rovers on loan in the next week to ten days

Malbranque update - #Sunderland want 500k for season long loan, surely #Rovers should just buy?

Samba

#Spurs have enquired about @cs4christsamba1 #Rovers

Defoe

Good news at last - #Kean fancies Defoe, has pushed the merits. Owners agree but don't want to be seen to fail again, up to #Defoe #Rovers

We don't support Blackburn Rovers because they win every game or because we got some awesome players in our squad. If we did that, we might as well support one of the big four.

I'm not saying you have to renew your ticket - surely how you spend your money and what decisions you make should be justifiable only to yourself and not others, but I don't think the others are wrong in renewing their tickets either.

Your right about supporting the club.

But the way the owners are operating there will be no club. The team is weaker than it was last season. Venkys want to become their own agents. so be it. But they will not be up to speed this transfer window. But they have upset so many agents by their dithering the team may remain weaker. If venkys want to learn to be their own agents, do it when the transfer window is shut. But now is not the right time to do it.

Venkys in my opinion are an embarrassment. To themnselves, the club and the premier league. They have come into a business they know nothing about. They get rid of those and upset others, who do know the business. The result can only be disaster for the club. It appears that 4 venkys share the same brain cell and take it in turns to use it.

They should go back to their chicken business and leave football alone.
