With our owners wanting to be their own agents - (how feesible that is, is another subject) - would not the transfer of any player be a lot harder now. Wonder if you could clarify this news about venkys and family members being agents. Is that a plan for this transfer window or for later on in their ownership?

I don't think you could get a licence in time to work in this window. I know that is the long-term plan. So they are obviously planning to stay.

We need 2 centre backs if Samba leaves or 1 centre back and 1 left back if Givet is going to play more as a centre back.

Also need 1 midfielder maybe 2 if Grella or Andrews or Pedersen leaves.

Also need 2 strikers at least and NOT Benjani!

Plus we need to sign Hoilett on a five year contract!

I believe the owners are looking for very significantly more than £12m for Samba and would dig in hard to get it.

This could be a rare case where player(s) could move in the opposite direction as Harry has a list which are undoubtedly PL quality and are on not totally unreasonable wages within the Spurs system.

Palacios is a player who has played in the north west and is not in favour at WHL.

Arsenal are not yet even at the race course so far as Rovers concerned irrespective of whatever smooching has been going on involving the player's connections.

For me Huddlestone and the young full back Rose.Playmaker position filled and 1 fullback position sorted,also wages should be in range.

I believe he was brought in by jerome Anderson.... With rovers staff unaware of this.......hope this isn't the case all summer :/

She strikes me as the lesser of 3 evils (the Venky siblings) so I'm cautiously pleased by this news.

If nothing else it points to us potentially signing somebody!

Apparently she is a very good negotiator and to be fair to her she did say few months ago that Kentaro's role would be diminish over time, maybe this the start of that process.
