Somebody has to!

Yes, and an astute business woman who states that she has no clue about football is the person to do it.

I was so naive, this seems to be the perfect solution.

It sounds like we just need one individual to step up and get a grip. We need one person to start orchestrating our transfer activity in the same way John Williams did. So far it sounds as if we've lacked focus and cohesion because too many people are being involved in the decision making process. If Mrs Desai can at least start making decisions and by-passing these committees we're all hearing about then it could be good news.

Fantastic.

I challenge anyone to make a positive out of that.

Blimey, it didn't take long.

She strikes me as the lesser of 3 evils (the Venky siblings) so I'm cautiously pleased by this news.

If nothing else it points to us potentially signing somebody!

Go on Brian, you just want us to sign anybody - admit it!

Shes better than the brothers by the sounds of things, banged a few heads together and tried to bring them into line, I'd say its a big positive den.

Sorry Gav - I'm in stitches at this.

I don't think Desai is choosing the players, is she?

I think she's just taking charge of the budget and whether players are too expensive or not.

Could be wrong, though.

To be fair, out of the whole "organisation" she would be the one who i would want to negotiate for us having seen how she handled the Phil Jones transfer.

If this is the same lady that squeezed United for 4.5 extra mill for Phil Jones, it might be good thing. John Williams would've been too much of a gentleman to play hard ball with them.

It's not funny Gav,we should not be in this position..we are being run like a flurkin Circus!

NO POSITIVES TO BE FOUND HERE.

SG194, stop bothering trying to make heads or tail of it. Out and about the area Venky's ate seen as absolute cretins of the highest order, come on to the brfcs twilight zone and they are cunning foxes sitting on a warchest that are going to propel us to glory.

Go figure.

The same woman who claims to know very little about football..WTF! <_<

I have just finished bashing my head against a wall and can see much clearer now, SG194.

We are managerd by someone who is not a manager, we have a chairman that is just an empty chair, we have players who never play, we have a medical staff that is now the bootboy and tea lady, and now we have someone in charge of football transfers that knows nothing about football.

Is it not obvious?

We are in a 90's sports movie, so it is a guarentee that we will win the league! banana005.gif

On the podcast when Kammy mentioned we are tracking a championhip attacking midfielder who's under 24 and scored quite a few goals Lewis Mcgugan springs to mind?

Apparently she is a very good negotiator and to be fair to her she did say few months ago that Kentaro's role would be diminish over time, maybe this the start of that process.

Maybe so, but how can you negotiate with any credibility on something you know nothing about?

Posted

She won't be choosing players, but will handle negotiations. I believe she had already put Levy straight Re Keane.

Kamy, Is Kean being allow to choose the players he wants and she will put bids in for players he wants?

Thats not really negotiating - thats just giving your opinion. If we carry on like this we will have an empty shopping trolley when we get to the checkout on the 1st September.

Knowing us, we will do a trolley dash on the 31st August and end up with the crap left on the shelf.

Bizarre times.

Thats who I thought, fits the description and i highly rated.

I wonder who the foreign free agent midfielder is?

Are we actually any closer to signing anyone? Is there any other news over the last week or so?

I'm expecting the replies to be that we've been linked with Eric Cantona, Leo Messi, Leo Fortune-West, Otto Von Bismark and Ed the Duck. And that Venky's are opening a branch on the International Space Station, and Steve Kean is actually an android controlled by Brendan Flood.

I would have said Marcos Senna but he's just signed a new deal with Villareal.
