Well she sure doesnt act like one, how you can realistically defend her after destroying our football club dfies all logic, Crippin was a Doctor wasnt he, he killed a few too!!

If you had half a brain you would realise that being a business woman doesnt mean she is good, Crippin and Shipman were doctors, supposed to preserve lives, get my point now, I wasnt calling her crippin, read and digest!

And one more important point, Maxwell was a businessman, he killed himself and his family walked away with my pension fund!!

Venky's are not billionaires,isn't that fact, they aren't in forbes,in a weeks time i wonder will all the optimism drain from those that think venky's are doing a good job if we still have not signed anyone and Samba confirms what we all know that he wants out and Hoillet is still mulling over signing a new contract.

She won't be choosing players, but will handle negotiations. I believe she had already put Levy straight Re Keane.

Thats not a bad thing. She didnt mess about with the Jones deal and she is the one who doesnt appear to live in fantasy land of her brothers.

So has anyone NOT made any signings still besides us?

Its like you wanting to buy a new video game and asking some random old lady walking down the street to go and buy it for you. She wouldn't know the base price, she wouldn't know where to go, she wouldn't know the system, she would not have a clue.

Would anyone wanting promotion so badly that they buy a premiership team NOT want to be in Forbes? I think this argument was used for the dodgy geezer that we missed, so that is not an alluring argument to make.

Not sure that's entirely true. If she was given a full spec, directed to the shops and was a skilled negotiator, she might be able to be objective enough to go and get the best deal without getting emotional about it. Whereas if the shopkeeper started playing hardball, you might be quicker to give in and pay over the odds because you "really want that video game".

No but I bet she knows how much a bag of scratch costs, how much a normal chicken eats, which is best for layers, which is best for chicks, et cet o ra.

You never know, she might be fantastic at it, but tis not the move I would make.

Another frustrating day of no news, especially when other teams are looking to get transfers completed. Thankfully a lot of teams around us, including Sunderland in my opinion, haven't actually strengthened their actual first XI. So there is still hope that we can get some good first team players in and still be able to challenge for a top 10 position.

What baffles me is that we can get four signings in during the January transfer window yet struggle to even bring in players who want to sign for us in this window.

Oh and before I forget, I know I am probably reading too much into this but I wonder if this is a slight dig at Venkys?

Until she is offered the super special, collectors edition in the metal case for 35 pound more.

She could harangue like the best of them I am sure, maybe it will work. Who knows.

Could be the Thatcher of Rovers. Eh' Jim. kiss kiss.

Its one HELL of a steep learning curve for her though and not much time. That is always the issue.

Malbranque your having a laugh,his legs are gone,two or three years ago he would of been a great signing but not now,have we got any money at all.
