Im all for finding bargains and young talent on cheap deals or freebies, but I wish we would spend some money on a top class striker & midfielder too!!

Just trailists and freebies wont cut it im afraid!

Totally agree Hughesy would think that the vast majority of Rovers fans would support your opinion here.

After chasing the mystery striker today one or two other things did emerge...that might explain something.

The game is advertised on Oldham Athletic's website. Noon kick-off at Brockhall behind closed doors. I'm sure you'll be able to find a viewing point nicko ;)

Did you know he is much like Batman, he waits around all day waiting for his sign, which to Nicko is questions (normally "any news Nicko,") to spring into action.

He purposely says nothing until asked.

just to confirm Deyviso Rogério da Silva=Bobo(its his nickname), looks quality player to me, would be a good signing even if its not the player in question.

i still can't see how he would get a work permit though?

MYSTERY MAN...well done Zacc...amazing that in these days of the all-seeing internet a foreign striker can be at the club for over 24 hours and very few know...gives an old hack some hope that stories can go undetected.

OTHER NEWS...I think there are other people over just now...in fact, I know they are...don't know what the game is...still working on that.
