i your reffering to me, i never said they mentioned these players, what i meant was they promised an exciting summer, judge them on this summer they said. Im pretty sure they said something about some exciting new arrivals. Another point i want to make about the venkys is a week ago i had finally started to warm to them, i actually thought they were doing something positive at last now i feel like i did 3 months ago, i know we cant judge them on hearsay but trusting nicko's word, it looks like they have bottled bringing these kinds of players in.

In defence of BPF- when he states something as 'insider' info it is usually spot on- the rest is his opinion and he is entitled to it as we all are. Perfect example is Nicko's view that Kean has the makings of a good manager-that's his opinion, when he gives us info it is first rate-there is a distinction.
