I am still open about the money being there but surely Venky's must realise if you sell one of your best players for £16m the fans are going to expect to see a chunk of that being spent on players. Even under the trust who I was critical of put some of the money in when we sold a Bentley or a Roque. With all this talk of free transfers what are fans supposed to think?

Fact or guess work? if we sign Defoe and a good midfielder i will be happy but i just don't think there is money,sell Jones for 16.5 million and replace him with Mongongu for 2.5 million,i fear if Samba is sold same thing will happen.

I didn't think about it until someone said.....I think the fact rovers haven't got a sponsor yet is damaging! The income was going to fill a hole but as there has Been no confirmed sponsor the PJ money may have filled this certain hole(bank loan or something along those lines) I can't say for certain why we have relatively little money, but I do know that people hoping for a big signing (like myself) can forget about it for the time being!

That Said Venkys have changed their mind before.....a few times infact!

Perhaps we don't have a sponsor yet due to the fact the new prospective owners want themselves as sponsors, or have sorted out a potential sponsor!

Wishful thinking there! "The Qatar Group" on the front of the shirt.. I'd take that even if it did look shocking!

Who started the rumour about Bobo and got us all excited shame on you ha,kamy said venky's read this forum if they did they would know how disgusted most of us are at the manner they are going about their business,sign atleast two good players or we will be fighting relegation,jase roberts tweeted rochina and formica are looking good in training atleast thats a positive.it's very strange how quiet Steve Kean is being perhaps he is as fed up as the rest of us,he is the manager so he should have final say on all the transfers or he should threaten to resign,so do we have mrs D to thank for the signing of Pavone.

IF the rumoured takeover or buy in does go through (and those in the know are strongly suggesting it is well advanced) then we probably won't see the PJones money will we?

It will belong to the old legal entity & the new entity will have to determine it's own budget for transfers and where the funding will come from.

With so much uncertainty at present nothing can be taken as a given.

So I can agree that Yes we might not see the actual P.Jones money - that may well be pocketed by Venky's as part of the club sale deal - but that doesn't mean we won't have other money to replace it though...

I'm getting very fed up with this "I heard ... " stuff. Either you stop talking bad about the club, or you tell us all you know, with sources, and arrange a frickin' protest!!!!
