There is no doubt now, if it hasnt been clarified, the trialist is Bruno de Paula Ribeiro Ingrácia a 28 year old Brazilian who played at Brockhall and also travelled to Austria with the squad!!

if and its a big IF, i got it wrong it happens.. was like a jigsaw puzzle yesterday. and i have got to trust my sources.. usually excellent.

also lots of things that dont add up going on.. i will elaborate when i know more.

an offer for witsel was accepted from us but he didnt want to come here(sound familiar, pattern showing!) ,cisse=high fee ridiculous wage demands and as for piatti well the only person who even claims we where after him was nixon(make of that what you will!).

We didn't make an offer for Witsel....

Would be quite ironic if Cryer was right after the stick you gave him yesterday though

I don't care either way neither sound like what we need

Not really, just couldnt understand why a right full back with not many games in his career would be a target, we have young players at the club who would provide much better cover!

I will be surprised if we sign anybody. It is hard not to believe that these trialist is just a smoke screen to Venkys not spending any money.

Oh well knew slogan for Rovers to replace business as usual. 'WE'RE SHUT FOR BUSINESS, COS WE'RE SKINT'

to be honest with you... what you said is a load of crap. Yes clubs do miss out on players but its largely due to fees and player wages that are too high, or the player not wanting to come to the club...

ALEX WITSEL = doesn't fall into any of the category. the fee was extremely cheap for someone of his quality, he wanted to come here, fair wages as well according to reports. no excuse.

PAPISS CISSE = again. good fees, wanted to come here.. wages were high but what do you expect if you want someone of his qualities.

PABLO PIATTI = same as witsel exactly.

those 3 according to reports would have costed us 28m at tops... 20 from jones deal + 5-6mil from injected cash. wages could be afforded as they afforded RSC and JJ wages which were probably as high as it could get with cisse.

those 3 players would have made us a top 10 team and it could have been done. no excuses there.

Have you actually seen witsel or piatti play? Not just clips either. Cisse had one very good season in Germany. It would be like signing dj campbel and paying him 75k per week based on the fact he scored goals in the prem. If wistel was so good why did no one else move for him? No interest from any of the major leagues Italy, Spain, England, germany, France or Russia.

Why would they be at ewood? Players train at Brockhall? Transfers not often done at ewood.

im sure the team have been at ewood all day as you can see in the pictures, well im just passing on what i heard to see if anyone in the know can look into it, personally i don't believe it but why weren't there any pictures of samba are captain in the new strip today ?

just passing on what i been told i could easily keep it to myself, sometimes things work out wrong but its good to find out if true isn't it, also Adebayor is going to spurs on loan with city paying part of the wages

I watched Piatti play last season. Not 'just clips' but matches. He is worth double the £8m or so he went for. Terrific player.

The issue I have is this. These players are very good players. If we had made sensible bids for these players and they turned us down, fine, accepted, it happens. But that isn't what happened. These players were open to coming to Rovers and we did nothing. We watched teams like Valencia (In a major league by the way) and Benfica snap these guys up and we're now looking at freebies and trialists.

To me, Venky's appear to have bottled it. They made big statements and drew up lists of good players who would have cost big money. Several of those players (Piatti/Witsel) were even open to coming here but as soon as it came to actually spending money, we did nothing and it appears that our budget has disappeared.

This isn't about simply not having bought anyone, its that the transfer plan is broken. There is no cohesion. There is no strategy and no focus.

I gave Venky's a chance because I knew that we had to take a risk in order to remain in the division, in order to seriously freshen our first 11. Instead we're talking about the same scenarios that we were used to under the Trust. For a business with money and their reputation at stake, its not good enough.

I genuinely believe that the team we finished last season with at Wolves will be stronger then our first 11 we put out at Ewood in 4 weeks time. I dearly hope that I'm wrong.
