I am pretty sure thats the last time Steve Karl Pilkington Kean spoke on camera. All the hype All the build up and were left disappointed and quite frankly so far lied to. Heres my theory, Blackburn Rovers can NOT Negotiate a transfer as they have no one to issue a professional football contract. Examples are, Benjani out of contract although hes agreed a deal verbally hes still not got the paper work to sign on the line, Junoir quoted he wants to stay and commit a long term future to the clubs yet no contract also, Kean quoted as saying Junior is our number one priority this summer. There is no excuse for this John left in February and Tom Finn left in March although I am sure Finn gave Rovers notice of his departure soon after John left the club. Why have these positions gone vacant for such a long time. Infrastructure is the most valuable assets in any club. With out that we have no foundations to build on so it would be irrelevant if we sign Kaka Benzema or Messi this summer as the club will still remain behind the scenes in a big mess. If the reports are true and kentro and Venkys have parted company so to speak then as much as most Rovers fans would welcome that news, All Rovers fans would not welcome the news that we are in control by 3 people who do not have a clue how to run a football club. Before any player in the world, We need board room without empty seats but with real professional footballing business brains.

Deputy Chief Executive: Paul Hunt.

Finance Director/Company Secretary: Martin Goodman.

Directors: Robert Coar, Gandhi Babu, Mahesh Gupta.

Club President: K.C. Lee.

Vice Presidents: I.R. Stanners, G.R. Root, M. Jeffries.

Hasn't Robert Coar been there since forever, being chairman in '95? He would know football inside out, right? So if this is not a different Robert Coar, then we can't be a complete mess with no knowledge of football. Also, some of these people would be able to sign a contract.

Problem is, would they be allowed to?

I'm sorry, but I can't believe that even allowing for some of the ineptitude shown recently that our owners would leave us with no-one able to sign off on contracts.

Correct me if I am wrong but last player to sign a contract was Formica and he was pictured signing it with Tom Finn.

It wouldn't surprise me at all.

You don't have to sit around a table to sign documents any more, modern technology and communications are wonderful things.

Absolutely. That's why the manager gets on a plane to India every month for a meeting.

this is embarrassing making up players that are at ewood when i just saw on skysports news that defoe at airport with spurs would never sign for us to far up north for him fact!!!

I did post the other day that Defoe wouldnt sign for Rovers, that was from a colleage close to Mansion House London who knows Defoe and its not just because we are too far North, footballers talk and we a are not viewed as a stable club at the moment.

It is embarrassing because most of the stories on here usually have some kind of back ground research done on them before there posted. Anyone can post a rumor here is one i found on another rumor site (Blackburn Rovers are currently awaiting a response from 3 different clubs, regarding transfer enquiries. The 3 players that Blackburn have understandably enquired about are Arda Turan, from Galatasaray; Artem Milevskiy, from Dynamo Kiev; and Maksim Bardachov from BATE Borisov.) I highly doubt we have even considered any of them players but this is the way this site could be heading.

So what about all the players who have signed for Leeds, Portsmouth, City and various other clubs and far more unstable moments. I don't buy the fact that many players will turn down a move to the club simply because of any ongoing 'turmoil'.

Yeh but players with the stature of Defoe may very well

He should be more concerned that every person he meets feels exactly like he does about his own team.

He should really be wondering if people just tell him what he wants to hear, or if he is hearing things.

Portsmouth and Leeds were expensive gravy trains - if you sign for a club that's a mess financially because they're wildly overspending, then when they go down and bust after three years of paying you £80k a week, you'll move on for a song and the next sucker will come along to match those wages.

Rovers is a very different kind of chaos.
