i thought the idea of this thread was so we could "quickly" see whats going on with regards to transfer news?

by removing the link about Jermaine Jones into the Jones thread does this mean from now on instead of reading this thread i should take out more time to go through all individual threads because all links etc will be removed from this thread?

Agreed, just spent the last 5 minutes trying to work out where all the posts have gone and then had to trawl through the other threads.

Ideally people could post the links in here and then in the individual players thread along with any discussion. The problem is that after posting the link in this thread its then followed by a bunch of replies in discussion of the player or the validity of the link. These posts should be in the individual player topics.

If the player has his own thread, post the link in there. Then post a link here linking back to your post in the other thread.

and we aren't allowed links because there is another thread for them.

why have this one? and if your going to push us all to the above links only thread someone is gonna have to take the time to keep that up to date, because it is useless when there is nothing new in it

the problem is the links only thread is never up to date

so people come on here to have a quick browse on what is reported to be happening.

all the links about us bidding for Jones on loan have been removed from this thread.

so if this is happening, we now have to go to all individual threads to check for links on reported bids instead of just looking here

despite this thread, going into over drive, the individual player threads is a bit of a light relief imo. I think Glenn has added the bit, where it says its just speculation or it has been linked by Nicko or Kamy. while talk of transfers will still happen in here, by moving talk of individual players, it makes it much easier, to just go through this thread. in all honestly, Ive become a bit tired of posting, because I cannot keep up with all the threads, but at least you can see who we are and are not linked with.

I agree. Unless you spot that there has been a flurry of activity in one of the other threads you might miss a lot of interesting discussion. i quite understand that this thread gets unwieldy and there are server problems at times, but it was much easier to read through just one big thread before. Now I come on and read people quoting posts I haven't even seen, which have been removed to some other place that I can't be bothered to look for.

Delete this post too. It's off topic but i just wanted you to know that I preferred it as it was.
