Not seen the lad from forest, but by all accounts he is very good. Think this should be the type of player we go on, wages would suit us, we need to be sensible, vast wages could see us in big trouble, who knows in a few years time if we grow then we could pay more. For now let's improve but not go crazy. IMO this is what the club is thinking.

Thank you Captain Obvious, I hadn't realised.

Anything on the forest bloke from anywhere else but twitter?

Ha ha ha, that proper made me laugh.

Just so my comment does not get deleted, ermm not sure on Mcgugan. Stevofootball from the beeb is usually in the know on all things Forest related.

I believe looking at signings like Mongongu makes a lot of sense for us. Reasonable fee, probably acceptable wages.Young.

If he does the business,we get a good return.

If he bombs it's not been a massively expensive mistake.

Beats washed up old freebies in my eyes that's for sure.

Off on holiday for 10 days tomorrow so will be away from any transfer news. By the time I get back can our owners please set up our club in such a way that we can enter the transfer market relaistically and stop mucking us about. I don't what your game is but it isn't funny and all you are doing is stoking up the fires of more and more conspiracy theories by your halfarsedness.

David Vaughan on a free to Sunderland? Now that's a cracking deal. Charlie Adam may have stole the plaudits last year, but Vaughan was Blackpool's player of the year. Should have been all over that.

If he bombs yeti-dog we will be in the championship which would be a massively expensive mistake.

Nicko's probably in a darkened room listening to whale songs with a whisky. It seems like we all could do with that sort of thing until September.

I'd like Lewis McGuigan (sp?), as he does seem to be good. Perhaps a part exchange involving Andrews and/or Grella could swing it.

So JAL, let's get this straight. You are saying that if we sign Mongongu our future will be on his shoulders???

If he does sign he'll have a job on his hands to get in the starting line up ahead of Samba & Nelsen.

Nelsens old, injured, and more or less at the end of his career at this level. Samba could well yet leave come the last day in August. So Cedric is going to have to be ready, prepared, and up to the task right from the off when the season kicks off, otherwise we are going to struggle.

Forget your expensive striker up front if the ball is going into the back of our net more frequently.

Just hope they've done their homework correctly on the lad, thus, ensuring no problems in him adapting and performing well in the premier league. After all thats what they get paid for to know their subject.

Spat his dummy out yesterday.

Yes he did make this forum interesting but recently has caused a lot of panic.

HE didn't cause the panic. Information from the club caused panic.

That's like getting mad at a scout for telling you there's an army coming.

The up coming season will be a struggle whether we sign him or not. I'm just looking forward to what is going to be our tenth concecutive season in the top flight rather than get my knickers in a twist about who we sign, when we sign them and if they will make the grade or not.
