Formica and Rochina both in the starting line-up is unthinkable. That team needs at least 3 or 4 new players to be competitive and would be relegated with a record low number of points.

We've not been in 19th place with roberts upfront in any of the last few seasons. He's an excellent player for the team, massivly undervalued imo. He does for us what davies does for bolton. Yes, he's not the best finisher, but his play creates plenty of chances for the team. The wolves game showed this. We'd be a lot worse off if we didn't have him as an option, fact

Darron Gibson - would improve our squad HOW? HE IS brutal and understudy to a one Keith Andrews in Traps army,people need to cop on, just because someone plays for man utd doesn't make them a good player.

Exactly, I've seen enough of Gibson to know that he'll never fulfil the early promise he showed.

As for people saying Brown is a better player than O'Shea, what bloody planet are you on? Not that I'd want either of them at this stage of their careers but Wes Brown makes O'Shea look world class!

The Benfica interest is probably fake. They need a left back and not another defensive midfielder (they have 3 and only use 1 in the team).

I can't believe we are talking about O'Shea or Brown both too old & definitely not the way forward I just hope this Mongongu signs younger room toimprove even Ohnuha would be a better option hope the Hoilett rumour is just that nothing coming up anywhere else in the press so probably BS.

anyone who thinks we can go into the new season with the one we had from last season needs their heads checking, that team has bottom 5 written all over it, to be honest i wouldnt pay with my p*ss to watch that side. Not looking forward to the new season, im honestly dreading it even though i will be there in the blackburn end. Got a bad feeling its going to be relegation or close to it UNLESS some quality players are brought in. I know some of you will lambast me for saying all this but thats how i feel at the moment.

I don't know why people find this so hard to understand:

At the moment there is no budget agreed. Kean keeps suggesting players, enquiries are made and then everything stops. The reason, there is no budget agreed. There was, everything was going great until they started having doubts. Fingers crossed they'll get over this but don't expect any imminent signings. We are not going to be talking to anyone until the current situation is resolved. How long that is going to take, I have no idea. Hopefully, this weekend! Then we can actually go about not getting relegated next season!

Yeah, its not a bad team. Replace Roberts and Pedersen and its a lot better. Also Hoilett could play wide right and Rochina in the hole. What will kill us is if Hoilett, Samba and NZonzi go. And if we don't land some decent targets we will be up against it on all of those....
