I watched the first episode of Tattooist of Auschwitz at the weekend. I was mightily impressed by the cinematography, acting and script. It's wasn't an easy watch in parts but I would certainly recommend watching it.

It's on Sky Atlantic.

I watched the first two episodes of “ Spy/Master “ on Saturday night. If you’re a fan of the Cold War era spy thrillers like “ Funeral In Berlin”, “ The Ipcress File “  and “ The Spy Who Came In From The Cold “ this series is a must

Anybody watch Netflix's Griselda?

Finished it last night thought it was decent.6 parter based on the true story of Griselda Blanco , the godmother of the cocaine scene in Miami

Yeh I watched it, probably around the same time you did. I enjoyed it too, decent like you say. Probably not one I'll consider mentioning when I think about my top 20 shows or anything (but then again I've watched a lot of shows), but still a very good watch. In the vein of the excellent Narcos, and I believe some of the same team were involved in it.

I haven't, it came up in my acting class though as the script we were reading was apparently from it. Piqued my interest, but I don't do BBC iPlayer as I don't have a TV license. Not worth it for the minimal amount I would watch with it so I stick to the other streamers. May give it a try on Netflix at some point. Think the next thing I'll watch is Snowfall though (which is another crime drama that's meant to be excellent), when I'm finished with Castle Rock (set in Stephen King's universe) which I've been enjoying.

Not TV but I've just listened to the most recent two episodes of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. They were recorded in Blackburn and some of the funniest I've heard in what is always an outstanding show. Don't take offence to the digs at Rovers - they do them everywhere they go. The Mornington Crescent game in the second episode, played under Lancashire rules is an absolute classic.

I don’t normally have it on but since they announced it was coming from Blackburn I had a listen.

Love the show but completely forgot this series was on! Got some catching up to do!

They always record two programmes from each location so there will be another one on Sounds.

What's it on? I'm after something new to watch.

Disney Plus. Not seen it myself but it's on there, heard a lot of good things. The concept doesn't draw me in, but the amount of raving I've heard about it, I'll probably watch it some day.

Just finished watching this a few days ago. Powerful stuff, as anything well-made about WWII and particularly the holocaust generally is. Not the sort of thing I could binge watch though, I never watched more than 2 episodes at a time as it's quite heavy going.

I can’t say I’ve seen The Bear on Disney+, a series the rest of the family keep saying, especially one episode in series 2, is the best bit of Tv they have ever seen!

Praise indeed, I’m going to give it a go.

Watching it with ‘er indoors, so just need to wait for the weekend when I see her next!
First two series though, I can 100% vouch for.

Linford on BBC IPlayer. Documentary about Linford Christie, really well done.

Would love a similar type of documentary about Rovers once Venkys have left. Would be too far-fetched even for the big guns like Netflix, surely?

Started it after seeing your post in Jan. Was keeping my eye out for THE episode. Assume it's the one round the dinner table. Phenomenal.

Half way through Season 3.

@K-Hod You not started 3 yet? Episode 1 is literally food and music. Not a spoiler that, just I'd probably have appreciated it more if briefed in advance, right mindset and that. Kept waiting for the opening montage to finish. 😂😂 Then, oh this is it.

Never thought I'd be entertained for 30 mins by a show with no talking.

The Linford documentary was really good but I thought the Daley Thompson one was better. It's a BBC production so should be available on iPlayer.
