otto man Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) Getting to the end of the first series of Breaking Bad, slow at times but compelling. He's just been to see Tuko You're in for a treat. It just gets better and better. Edited March 25, 2015 by otto man 1 Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted March 25, 2015 Author Moderation Lead Posted March 25, 2015 Ive watched the first series but started the second and its ok but not worth the hype . The 3rd and 4th are where it really picks up imo. All the seasons start quite slowly then really pick up the pace I felt, which makes it gripping! Quote
ABBEY Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 will persevere K ,also just started the sons of anarchy 1 Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted March 25, 2015 Author Moderation Lead Posted March 25, 2015 You should, it really is worth it! My mate keeps going on about that, and it's on Netflix, will have to get it tried! Quote
otto man Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 will persevere K ,also just started the sons of anarchy Sons is just compulsive viewing Abs. The 2nd season got a little silly for me, but from then on, you're in for one hell of a ride(excuse the pun) As K-Hod said, stick with BB it just gets better and better!. Quote
donnermeat Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Sons of Anarchy is class, except for the Irish season, that wasn't that great. Quote

Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Season 3 was the Irish season. Season 4 is where it really starts to get good imo. Breaking Bad is the greatest drama ever made. Quote
T J Hooker Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 (edited) Soa is pretty cheesy and a bit soapy in places, but its genuinely one of the best plotted shows around, theres shocks and twists that you'll never see coming Edited March 26, 2015 by I.must.be.batty Quote
ratters Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Breaking bad and sopranos I think are the greatest ever. Also love the walking dead. Been right through the topic and nobody has mentioned Gomorrah. I don't think it is very well known. Italian Mafia crime drama and is absolutely excellent - would highly recommend. Quote

Is it based on the same book that the film was based on? As an aside the film is worth checking out (subtitled) ,not a glamorous hollywood production mafia style film, but more of a real life gritty view on things Edited April 3, 2015 by perthblue02 Quote
ratters Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 is it in english? It is subtitled but don't be put off. I don't know too much about the background to it but a friend recommended it and I was hooked. It was on sky catchup which is where I saw it. Quote
ratters Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 im lazy ha cant be arsed with subtitles .have a read of the reviews on IMDb. Gets a 9 which is up there with the best. Quote

davulsukur Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Everyone else will have seen it but I am just catching up on Game of Thrones. Nearly up to date. Just seen Prince Oberan v The Mountain in season 4. Holy Sh*t that was brutal. Quote

Just seen Prince Oberan v The Mountain in season 4. Holy Sh*t that was brutal. Oberan only had himself to blame, fannying around. Equivalent to sitting back on a 1-0 lead and conceding twice in stoppage time. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted April 20, 2015 Backroom Posted April 20, 2015 More of a Matt Derbyshire moment - had a chance to end it but got silly Quote
ultrablue Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 New season has started slow again. Everyone just getting into position i suppose. Don't know why we are still following that big blonde knight around. She'd better do something good soon! Quote
