I watched Game of Thrones last night. As much as I have loved it in the past, I feel like it's declined over the last 2 series and a lot of people have convinced themselves it's a lot better than it actually is.

Really enjoyed this series. Thought some of the scenes in the last 10 minutes were slightly far fetched (e.g. the car chase) but I think it will scoop an award or two. The lad who played 'Dot' Cottan was especially good I thought. I've never seen anyone sip water with such menace and arrogance.

Yeah from the point were the armed escort started shooting the place up it was just plain silly. Why did they need an armed guard ? How did the armed guard get himself allocated to that duty ? Why after a pre planned operation did they have to run for miles when they escaped from the building ? Why did the Range Rover go round and round the block after the escape ? Would somebody risk a long range shot like the woman copper did ?

Would they hit the target with one shot ?

Who was the driver who shot " Dot " Cotton ?

I was really disappointed. The rest of the series was great.

Yep, it was a bit OTT wasn't it? Seems to be common these days, that last series of Fargo (was on Channel 4) was great fun till the last couple of episodes when it got silly as well. Can't help thinking back to The Fall (was it about 18 months ago?) - now that was how to finish a series the right way.

It's definitely worth a watch mate. It was brilliant from start to finish imo and I loved it.

Its is really good and entertaining, im just saying its not technically a great show, it's not in the same league as breaking bad, mad men, the wire.... Its just good dumb fun(and it really makes me laugh when it tries to get all heavy and serious, it soo ludicrous) i do recomend it though it's a good pallette cleanser between more thoughtfull shows.
