If Honda is to be financed out of "ordinary" transfer funds, we would certainly have to sell to fund him given Mrs D's way of accounting for player costs.

However, you do acknowledge there is an issue over the debt/mortgage.

I am not saying Honda is a done deal. Makey and Callumrovers have said that Rovers have bidded 9 million pounds for Honda, and that's that. I'm just passing it on here and making the comment that if we can bid 9 million, we must have got cash to spare otherwise we wouldn't have bothered.

Please do not equate me as saying "We've gotten Honda."

I think there is money after all and we will do some modest business in this window. Venky's know thats a must for us to push away from relegation this season and the fear of relegation and the financial ruin it will leave a club like Blackburn has to motivate them into digging deep into their investment. Blackburn are huge compared to venkys and if Blackburn go into debt due to relegation of by any other means then Blackburn will sallow the Venkys family empire.

What you don't seem to get is that nobody except those doing the bidding and those receiving the bids actually know whether we have or haven't. The problem is that nobody actually believes anymore anything the owners or the manager say. In fact they could point at a white object, tell us it was white and we'd still be wondering if we couldn't see a bit of grey in there somewhere. It's not your fault if you post something and we choose to take it with a whole kilo of salt - it's the owners the manager and the joke they have made of running our club.
