Imagine if Venkys aren't intending to sell the club at all and the news runs a headlines "Venkys looking for buyers". Not sure how British laws work, but safe to say in Asia the papers can get sued for that.

Do the fans on this messageboard make up the majority of Blackburn fans, by the way? Just asking.

If they don't post facts then they are stupid. If they report the truth, then that is fine. At the moment the truth is that a large amount of fans are discussing Venky's selling Blackburn Rovers due to a rumour. It needs denying or admitting and as the LT is our local newspaper they really should try to get to the bottom of it.

If you truly believe he is PR for Venkys then what're you moaning about? Surely what he's therefore writing should be taken as a positive for two reasons; The fact that they are keeping in contact with the fans (albeit it would be through an odd means) and secondly, what Black Burn has been saying is largely positive in itself.

Anyway...why would Venkys PR be writing at 1am (Japan time-ish I believe)?

they seam to be coming out talking today and talking about the future and squashing these stupid rumours, lets get behind them, I'm glad there not chasing big names anymore, they been really badly advised, maybe they have taken a step back and realised what needs to be done, maybe a few people arn't getting there little snippets from there "sources" and come to the conclusion there selling up, something happened a few weeks back because of mr nixons article in the people that really wound them up

I have no idea, because I have never been to a pub. It costs the same in Singapore if you buy a can of beer in the Convenience Store, though. About a few hundred yen, anywhere between 300 yen to 800 yen per can.

Yes, the students look lovely in their uniforms. Sailor uniforms (I'm referring to the girls' school uniforms), especially, are a sight to behold.

No idea, but I have a feeling the journalists who write the stories sometimes put their own spin or slant on interviews especially if they are pursuing a certain agenda. I could be entirely off the mark with this one, though.

I am pleased that they are, at least in public, pulling back from plans for big name signings. I have no objection to high profile signings - as they raise the clubs profile - and make it easier to attract fans/sponsors and other players. They just need to learn to do it behind closed doors - if it fails, no harm done - if it comes off then great.

They can't be done for libel if all they are doing are publishing the facts... That at the moment a large amount of Blackburn Rovers fans are discussing rumours about Venky's wanting to bail. That in itself is worth a column inch.

And if not they should at least be investigating the rumour and give Venky's an opportunity to deny it, admit it or say "no comment."

As predicted - Balaji does not want to sell. We are to be strengthened in the boardroom though when his son turns 21 so that's something to look forward to, I wonder what he'll be directing - probably to early to ask at this stage.

I believe the rumours are correct but as I keep saying a willing buyer needs a willing seller or it doesn't happen. Balaji is not a willing seller clearly. Unless someone convinces him otherwise then things go no further.

I would say the opposite and its proven what a massive mistake posting this thread was in the first place.

We were supposed to be building ties between brfcs and Venky's. I doubt this thread has helped in any way, shape or form.

As many times as it was stated "its just a rumour". The fact they gave it credence means its 100% true in some eyes here.

Actually, it wasn't about the credibility or their sources that Kamy and Glenn posted this topic.

It was because there was already a rumor floating about that Venkys was going to sell, and some of these rumors had crept up on other threads, causing posters to go off topic, so they decided to create an entirely new thread about Venkys selling. They believe it would be discussed in other threads anyway, so why not make an entirely new one?

Though they trusted and respected their sources, they knew it was only a rumor and they weren't going to create a topic solely because they thought their sources were credible. In the end, what drove them to create the thread was the fact that the rumors were already being discussed elsewhere.

Zaccaius, would you be so kind as to enlighten us who your father is? You did demand names and sources from JAL when he mentioned something about the academy going downhill and coaches being sacked, so hopefully you can take your advice and provide a name as well.
