The one we have a number of sources on is not Tata- Tata are Indian. One source has suggested somebody else is talking to Venky's in India but we have absolutely no idea who that might be or even any way of verifying whether there is a second possible bidder.

I suggest you don't even try guessing the people we talked about; they are not a name many people have heard of.

SABIC is a massive Saudi chemical company that just seems to keep on expanding and expanding and expanding.

Dont know if they would be interested in a football club though.

That's covered in the podcast (the credibility of the source, a few scenarios where V's could be involved, but not running the show etc). I don't know that I fully believe it my self (and Kamy covers that to, we have to take what V's say at face value) but I'm not ruling anything out either.

You have changed your tune. Giving a lot of people grief for suggesting it was possible last week

Just you watch all the people that said it was a load of rubbish and more Venky hating clasp eyes on that 7 billion dollar figure and decide it could be true after all and that in fact these Venkys have not been that good. I

I think the 6th richest on that list would be an PR disaster of epic proportions :-)

As much as i want Rovers to progress and move up the league not quite sure the family of the biggest terrorist of modern times would sit well with anyone

At least Joey Barton would be able to slip in under the radar!

Not to sure I believe all this stuff. Seems too good to be true. Don't get me wrong, to suddenly have City's kind of wealth would be a hell of a ride but I just can't see it happening.

That said, fate always seems to find a way of keeping us up with the big boys...

Made their start in steel, like a certain former owner of ours. Also has echos of when City sold to the Arabs, wasn't jerome Anderson/kentato part of city when that happened also?
