Can we retain some level of sanity here.

Posts are being removed from this thread including some of my own and I fully support the mods on removing them. They were not trading abuse with anyone either.

In my opinion, one of two things will happen.

Either Rovers will be sold very soon and the damage limited or at some point the dam holding the all the bad news back will leak one piece and then another until the dam fails and a deluge engulfs us all.

In your opinion which one do you think will happen

Whilst the family remains split, the dam break is what we are heading towards.

It really comes down to whether sitting in Pune, they are able to adopt a more international business and journalistic perspective or not and by that, I am not referring to Balaji's "friends". If they cannot, they are unlikely to be able to see the dam, let alone the cracks appearing in it.

No, I just used the ones I found on their corporate sites, I went through them one by one when they bounced back. I'll try that one you've posted, if that doesn't stick must be my email account.

The only thing I will say is that late in the season we were close to 'armageddon' and there were numerous posters stating that should we go down our club was over- this was from reputable posters. Then a few weeks later there were the same posters who said 'we will be backed regardless of what division.' NOW we are heading for armageddon again- the reality? Venkys have said they are here for the long term and have never waivered from this.

I may be one of the few but I will believe it when armageddon happens rather than any poster with 'insider info.' No disrespect to those posters but there is so much duff info floating around, the Ribiero fisaco being a prime example!!

We are all Rovers supporters at the end of the day. There is nothing to be gained from gloating at a fellow-supporter for seeming to have been proved wrong for being upbeat and optimistic about Rovers. It is a damning indictment of Venky's that such a thing could be happening between supporters under their misbegotten watch.

Believe me I would be ecstatic if there were a whole thread of people throwing abuse in my direction because I had been proven wrong in my fear and pessimism.

I don't think it does, I think Jim has eloquently put what the majority of us think about those 'in the know' who come on here and tell us that if we know what they do we really would be furious, but they can't tell us what it is or else we would be furious, or summat like that.

Armageddon, dam breaking, being engulfed... All very emotive words and phrases and all guaranteed to wind people up to a fever pitch. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there is no purpose served by saying 'The world is going to end but I can't tell you how or when'. Whatever you have said, it is clear there is something wrong at Rovers at this moment in time but using emotive phrases and winding up the fans isn't going to serve any purpose apart from completely turning them against the management and ownership of this club and that could be disastrous in itself. If there is something wrong, either tell us at least some of it or don't say anything at all.

I await Armageddon with baited breath... not.

The good ship Blackburn Rovers is heading for an iceberg. I'm not saying it's definitely going to hit, because there's still time to steer it off course. However the iceberg has been visible for some time, but rather than steering us away from it, if anything those steering are putting us even more on course to hit it. Not only that but they've disposed of those with tried and tested nautical experience, and instead those at the helm had barely even stepped foot on a ship this time last year.

There are those on here who can see the iceberg coming and are rightly panicking and clamouring for something to be done. They realise they can't directly change things, but at least have it on fairly good authority those at the helm will likely be reading this forum and their opinions.

There are those who still can't see the iceberg, but I think theyre in a minority. There are those that didn't see the iceberg before but who now can see it and are getting very worried.

Then there are those who I'm sure can see the iceberg, but who are in complete denial. Those who say they will only worry when something bad happens, when the iceberg has hit; when it's too late. Maybe theyd be handing out lifeboats as the water starts to fill up the ship, or being in the band playing as the ship goes down.

Right now it's pre season. Not a lot of catastrophes can happen in pre season. But all the warning signs are there. Last season even with the final flourish we showed relegation form if Keans spell in charge was to be taken as a whole. This coming season unless something big changes, unless the ship suddenly starts to veer to a different course, we WILL hit that iceberg, and if we leave it too late to start steering away from it, it will still do catastrophic damage.

Sheff Weds are charging £400 for season tickets for the coming league 1 campaign, they’d much rather be paying £200 and seeing the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool and Keith Andrews.
