[Archived] Rumour: Venky's To Sell?

Recommended Posts

Mods, are we not allowed to discuss things posted on Twitter?

Of course.

Our biggest concern is people reporting things as fact that are libellous as fact (or things that are copyrighted). Discussing what has been published elsewhere is fine (obviously referencing where you read it helps).

So yes, "RoversInsider" is posting some pretty scandalous stuff, we've not been made aware of any injunction surround the things he's posted, so feel free to discuss them. I've twitter legal team that have to worry, not ours ;)

Oh, I've just seen your hidden post. Not sure why it was hidden. Looking into it.

hawkiiz I read all this guys tweets and TBH he had nothing to say, though I agree removing your post from the MB is very harsh. Nothing of any consequence has been tweeted by roversinsider

I have read them all too. I'm not taking it too seriously at this point because he is completely new, refuses to tell where his info comes from or who he is.

Still it is interesting input, and I would like to know what people make of it.

As I put on twitter, much of what he's saying about the club (I can't comment on the transfer stuff) has been doing the rounds on the rumour mill for a little while now. I've no idea if the info is accurate, but I know he didn't make it up himself.

From reading what insiderover has been saying I gather that Venky's didn't realize the full running costs of a football club. They didn't take into account agents fee's high salaries, bonuses such as goal scoring or appearance and this week its down to them to decide whether or not they are going to stay and pump a substantial amount of money into the football club or find a buyer and cut there losses.

Great Post pick32.

I think they will stay and put the wrong's done since their ownership right.

They have had very bad advise in the past and have finally woken up to realise that they received very bad advise from their advisors.

I wonder if the owners now regret getting rid of JW, TF and SA??? :rover:;):D

That may be the case, but they've made their bed and I think they've now got to lie in it.

You can't go making promises to thousands of people without even trying to deliver what you've promised.

Looking at the situation, a minimum of the Phil Jones money should be put back into the club, we would then have a substantial kitty for our standards and they wouldn't have to put in a penny extra in terms of transfer fees.

I've heard rumours that a problem is the fact the Phil Jones money is in installments. Surely we can buy players with staggered payments as well,as long as we make sure we don't go over the kitty? Isn't it the norm for transfer fee's to be payed over time and not all at once?

There is no excuse for not knowing what goes on at the club, a good businessman finds out, poor ones bury their heads!!

If I was spending twenty odd Million, I would make sure I knew.

Pretty much everything that has been written in here over the last couple of days, but more people seem to know about it and not from reading it on here. Strange.

People in Blackburn gossip. Fancy that.

Actually there are Roman texts that mention him, however local Hebrew texts refer to various characters who may or may or not be Jesus. The real question is who he actually was. Most of the stuff suggesting he was son of god etc came centuries later. Very little being written at the time is not surprising given the oral tradition of history and limited literacy amongst the majority.

Here endeth the lesson.

Yes I can back this up but like philipl I'm not going to.

And I can confirm the accuracy of most of what you say, but I am not going to go into detail here for the simple reason that this subject has absolutely nothing to do with football and should never have been raised on this forum. Proper place is ICBINF.

So back on topic: Where do we (the fans) gofrom here? What is the truth of it all? some serious questions need to be addressed and answered by those in a proper position to do so. And I am sorry but that is not likely to happen in public and certainly not on this MB.

it does seem quite odd and as such shouldnt be problem. As you wrote, we too have the option of using monthly installments and problem solved.

It must be something deeper then that (non)issue

Problem for venkys is, they do not know how to put right the shambles they have created. Therefore things are going to get worse - a lot worse - before they get better.

There are only two solutions for venkys.

1/ Sell the club out right.

2/ sell 80% of the club. Then they may make back at least some of the money they have lost.

Both of which would benefit the club. The first choice being the prefered one for the club. Second one is maybe best for venkys as well as the club.

But holding on is nothing more than sheer suicide for them as well as the club.
