This is the same newspaper that was never up to date with who was interested in buying Rovers! Then when they read the rest of the newspapers in the UK they just cut and pastes their version together. So the local paper knows zero of what is going on at the club. Of course they are happy to show pictures of players eating chicken and wonder why fans are angry at them.

LET is nothing but a mouthpiece for Venkys OK not as bad as the Radio Lancashire interview with Kean were no questions were asked but they are not relevant any more when it comes to breaking Rovers news.

The snippet I've been passed isn't something that could not have been foreseen Matty, simple as that, and doesnt jeopardise the club in my opinion. That said we need to strengthen the side and quick, so if you see relegation as jeopardising the club then thats your opinion, but its not mine.

Philipl has been alluding to problems from day one, this snippet wasnt an issue on day one, so if philipl is correct, then other stuff has yet to come out, or was philipl munching on sour grapes from day one, and stuff has broken since? Ive no idea to be honest.

Andy Cryer is not only a really good man but he is an extremely professional reporter. Being the Rovers reporter in such an under-resourced newspaper has placed him in a veritable minefield at a time when the stakes (and potential legal threats) are so enormous and what is happening is so complex and unpredictable.

The supporters are very fortunate to have him at LT.

I think the only thing the LT could do is write an article about Rovers supporters dissatisfaction with regards to Venkys. Without either evidence - or mentioning evidence if he has it - any paper has to protect itself legally. But voicing the fans concerns or fans desire for venkys to sell the club should be ok. Even if is was that fans not happy with the club being run from overseas. Or fans do not trust the owners anymore. Because if fans contact the paper they would then be able to publish fans reaction as fact.

I am not a lawyer etc etc, but that is how I see things. All the media can do is publish articles about the fans fustration. What I do not understand is why the LT are not doing so.

Why Nicko / cryer via the mirror & LT are not doing so. Both can glean enough fustration from supporters from just on here.

As far as I know I did not comment on Andy Cryer and I have previously posted that he is probably towing the LET line. But he working for a Blackburn newspaper and a story has broken in the national press about rovers, fan expects a response and why not from their local paper?

we're not alone. VILLA EVERTON AND SPURS are in a similar position.

We know for a fact that other clubs have been told by the banks to pay up, the banks are playing hard ball, this couldn't have been foreseen surely Zac?
