Philip, what happened with the accountants? We were told Venkys had changed Rovers' accountants and allegedly they had gone thoroughly through the accounts etc before they took over.

Well, if one thing is for sure, Rovers fans have always stuck together when the chips are down. If ever there was a time for that, this is it.

Im sorry but something isnt adding up at all here. I fully respect Nicko and find his info very interesting and often correct but I take everything he writes/posts with a massive pinch of salt.

I am not questioning him and believe he is writing what info his sources are giving him but in recent weeks I really have to question his sources. Its been one massive swing to another. £50million being spent to £18million pound being paid off the mortgage. It simply doesnt add up. I mean I am no economist but I have a mortgage and my bank dont just tell me one day that I need to clear the whole amount!!!

I am concerned about the current owners but I was probably more concerned about the walker trust who sat there doing nothing at all!

These stories really arent helping at all. Its interesting as well that we all wanting Venkys to shut up with the star name claims which is what they have done, yet the stories keep coming out, one miinute positive, the next negative.

As Ive said, it doesnt add up and I genuinly dont think anyone with "inside" info knows whats happening. I always have and always will have the attitude to deal with news when they become fact and not start jumping up and down because of rumour

As much as I have backed Venkys, this situation does need addressing ASAP not only to the banks, but to us fans.

So the money Venky's initially earmarked for transfers are now going to the bank. So we're left with no incoming players this window. Therefore the worst case scenario is that we go into the season with the squad as it is at the moment possibly minus Samba. Bad news.

I have to say im not entirely comfortable with being sold to someone else who, although clearly has money, but may have very little clue as to how to run a football club. Out of the frying pan and all that.

Right now we need money, but even more then that we need guidance and a cohesive management structure. We need someone who can get a grip and knows how to operate a football club. Venky's cant do it, but who's to say the next owners could do a better job.

Right now I'm willing to take that chance. Things could hardly be worse could they?

Nope, not at all. I deal with it when it becomes fact. Ie when someone has signed. Or in this case when the club has been sold. There is clearly a lot of rubbish going on in the press at the moment as I mention in my earlier post, things have gone from us matching Utd's spending spree to selling the club in a matter of weeks. It doesnt add up!!!

KPMG will be used very frequently, not only as their accountants, but also as financial advisors. If we have changed our registered office to KPMG, which is the norm for businesses. Then all correspondence will go to KPMG and they will be very aware of this situation.

The Jones money has been seized and since it's a fairly large amount of money I guess it'd keep the wolf from the door for a bit.

For the folks asking questions- the answers (such as they are) are in the last ten pages.

Regarding the media, I would imagine they have been scared off touching Rovers by the legal issues for the moment.

The media tends to hunt in packs so if one or two start on us we will soon be wishing we were being left alone and ignored again.

Once a club gets into the papers for wrong reasons, they never get out of them- ask Pompey, West Ham or Leeds fans what it feels like.

Be nervous when there is a slow sports news day when the journalists are looking in their files for something to write about.
