Just been told that Kean will be removed from his position before Friday and has been put on "gardening leave" until then. Jensen's rolling contract will not be renewed at the end of the month either. Seems that Mrs Desai is far from happy with Kean, Barry Mcintosh, coincidentally Pavone's agent (and formicas but hes looking for new representation so Ive been told) and Kentaro. Mcintosh also working for Kean which has seen Kentaro drop their support this has left him open to the bullet.

Huber recommended that he was removed but rovers have not only removed kean but broke off all ties with Kentaro, as Kentaro's stance on kean has made them look foolish and any deals in the pipeline are now cancelled until Mrs Desai's primary choice for replacement, Mark Hughes takes the reigns.

She is determined to get Mark Hughes back at Ewood after this disasterous agreement with Kentaro and are hoping to tie that up before Monday!

Philip mentioned recently that Kean has had a falling out with Mrs Desai, so this story may have some legs. But I heard Kia Joorabchian recently interviewed, and he stated categorically that Hughes was only interested in managing one of Europe’s top clubs and will wait patiently for that opportunity to arise. He left Fulham because the money wasn’t there to take them any further; we’ve less money than Fulham, so not wanting to wee on anyone’s chips, but the Hughes part surely is without foundation.

That said, if they feel a need to win back fans, appointing Hughes would certainly do that.

The Hughes story has as much credence as the Ronaldinho etct etc etc fairytales.

Venky's have already wasted £x millions paying off Sam; they are supposed to be skint so where is the money to pay off Kean and Jensen ?

Hughes left Rovers because of a lack of money to take the club forward - with money even tighter at present why would he return now, and to a club in turmoil ?

He's also a proud man and extremely wealthy - he doesn't need Blackburn Rovers any more.

Having sald all that, would be glad to be proved wrong.

He wouldn't. But if Venky's have, or do, actually try and bring him back by offering him a really good deal then they will have at least shown that they recognize the concerns of the fans and try to appease us by bringing in a manager all of us would want back at the moment.

I think that's an important point. However, all the stories coming out are still just rumours. The truth is probably in between. It seems that what's holding everything up is an internal conflict, likely between Venky's and Kentaro.

I would just put Nelsen in charge with Brunskill as assistant till we get a new manager in.

On another point, does anyone on here work at Ewood and if so, with all these rumours swirling around every day can they enlighten us as to the mood / atmosphere inside the club at present ?

Years ago I worked at a company in the middle of huge upheaval and it is not pleasant.

Steve Kean has been removed as Blackburn Manager with immediate effect, He has been put on Gardening leave after i major explosive argument the club owners had with Kentaro

Kentaro are Keans agents however they have got frustrated with Kean after he continued to promote his friend Barry Mackintosh as the preferred agent Rovers should use. He was the instrumental in the capture of Formica and had also pushed another one of his clients to the front in Pavone, The player was expected to complete formalities this week, but in a surprise twist Huber of Kentaro recommend to the new owners that Kean was out of his depth and the board hadn't used a resource on offer to them by signing Kentaro clients.

However Mrs D reacted angrily to this recommendation and has not only severed ties with Kentaro but they have decided Kean must go too as they have been lead up the garden path. His bullet proof role suddenly changed when an unnamed premier league player rovers wanted told Venkys through his agent that he we would rather retire than sign for a team managed by Kean, Kentaros outburst was the bullet they needed to pull the trigger

The knock on effect is Pavone has had his hotel room removed from him and has been sent packing.

just seen in the transfer thread posters actually still full of optimism , pro venkys , etc.....well all I can say to these posters are what drugs are you on ????? because the scenario @ BRFC is going from bad to worse with each passing day and if Samba and Hoilett leave how we'll survive as beyond me and obviously beyond steve kean as we are 4 players so far down on last season and only survived on the last day....

Is it not time somebody asked why the bank changed their view on the 'credit line' facility? Who put the boot in?
