I can update last nights info now, after checking most of the day.

Hughes has not been approached (Someone see's him out of work and puts 2 and 2 together and comes up with 5) So dnt be rushing the bookies.

Jensen- No decision on his future rolling contract was a safety net by the club but by no means was it offered or given with an agenda

Steve Kean- Long talks have been held with relevant parties other the long term future of Kean, and further discussions have been penciled in, Expect some Positive tales spun in certain Press outlets (However these are a smokescreen to the reality). Todays news certainly caught Rovers out and was unexpected and they have tried to deflect the story to other matters through the PR machine, However the club are pleasantly surprised that this has seen the owners potrayed as the hero and not the zero, and has given them more ammunition and confidence that this situation and turmoil can be brought back from the brink,

India Trip- Lots of disappointment that this has had to be postponed and makes the Asia trip even more important in the clubs Marketing strategy, No hidden agenda to why it was cancelled just one of them where common sense had to prevail.

Finance- Like a scene out of trading places, but money is available for the right players

So as things stand Kean future still up in the air with the general opinion he is on borrowed time and it may be that he jumps rather than pushed. The Bullet proof status is no longer a tag which can be pinned to him, and an unaminous Jury decision is becoming ever closer as peoples opinions are changing as reality is overthrowing stubborness. Although concerned that this amongst other things is slowing down the transfer front, a decision to push on with targets has still not been made. Discussions have been taking place throughout the summer with various clubs and players but Rovers ability to make a formal decision of YES or NO remains their achilles heel.

This story has not been put to bed and our sources remain adament the picture painted is exactly that, however the extra info which came in yesterday does appear to have been added as the special effects of the movie, and our reliable source has dismissed those claims.

In short Kean going is likely but being able to chat about it over tomorrows breakfast is wide of the mark

Also, I have heard the same as Nicko and Zacc but dont read too much into the bids as funds are still being witheld. We have lodged bids for players for weeks, but then gone stale on them, at the finishing line, expect some positive trip in the papers but dont bank it, as it has been set up this way.

Kean will be going, can't see them letting him pick targets at this stage, more of the worry is 3 or 4 players may leave who have salebale value.

A further £20-£25 mill in sales is not out of the question and have put price tags on players and offered them out.

Until Manager situation is resolved Mrs Desai wont commit figures for buying. For some reason, we are trying to be the seller rather than the reluctant seller.

I think we could be in some trouble. 5 players already gone and another 3-4 to go plus the deadwood with only 2 or 3 incomings does not read well for the maths and I was never any good at maths!

We are talking Samba, Kalinic, Pedersen and perhaps Hoilett if deal is NOT signed, in addition to grella/diouf etc.

This is Plan 1. if the pissing about doesnt stop, Plan 2 is to back Kean but offer no funds, plan 3 is to replace kean and give personal funding to move club forward, this is my undersranding of the situation.

Jones they can blame on transfer clause, Samba on player power, others on that they have run their course. Be interesting if a move for Honda occurs, as this would be in line with their original strategy of marquee players being the familes signings and it would have no effect on the manager situation as he only signs run of the mill players

So, Sales before income it is!

Most of his information on this site has been bang on over the past couple of weeks, despite his detractors. He even went as far as to name his source if memory serves me correctly, which is more than the usual suspects have ever done.

For that he deserves a pat on the back, wouldn’t you agree?

It’s a refreshing change from the usual:

“Something will happen, don’t know when, but soon, and its not going to be good, can't tell you why, can't tell you who told me, I just know ZZZZZZzzzzzz"

that's gonna be my new sig! ^_^

So, Sales before income it is!

Another massive punch in the stomach.

About a week ago, I at least had a minor hope that Venky's somehow would come to their senses and get two or three good players in without selling anyone. Then I started believing in the takeover rumours, however far fetched and unrealistic they might have sounded, just to keep a minor hope alive.

The hope is gone now. There's nothing positive to this situation at all. All that Jack Walker built destroyed in a matter of months by some utter clowns, some absolute ignorami, who have no feelings for or attachment to the club whatsoever.

By what stretch of anyone's imagination could anything the owners have done lead them to be thought of as heroes? It will take a heck of a lot of positive action before most of us even see them as normal sane human beings, and if they sell all the players mentioned we will know they are totally mad.

not sure if this is anywhere yet but Ive just been sent this news from a source

A source has revealed and not just to me but to other respected source getter's the following astonishing news

OK I was not going to post this but and I have had many chats to the merit of doing so. so here we go grab ur beers and and hot dogs cos this in a Vbers exclusive

Steve Kean has been removed as Blackburn Manager with immediate effect, He has been put on Gardening leave after i major explosive argument the club owners had with Kentaro

Kentaro are Keans agents however they have got frustrated with Kean after he continued to promote his friend Barry Mackintosh as the preferred agent Rovers should use. He was the instrumental in the capture of Formica and had also pushed another one of his clients to the front in Pavone, The player was expected to complete formalities this week, but in a surprise twist Huber of Kentaro recommend to the new owners that Kean was out of his depth and the board hadn't used a resource on offer to them by signing Kentaro clients.

However Mrs D reacted angrily to this recommendation and has not only severed ties with Kentaro but they have decided Kean must go too as they have been lead up the garden path. His bullet proof role suddenly changed when an unnamed premier league player rovers wanted told Venkys through his agent that he we would rather retire than sign for a team managed by Kean, Kentaros outburst was the bullet they needed to pull the trigger

John Jensen's rolling contract will not be renewed at the end of the month in a further twist and Rovers have already highlighted Kean's replacement.

Mrs D hopes to have Mark Hughes in place before next Monday so he can lead the club in Asia in the upcoming Asia cup. Hughes is keen to return and has been promised full control of transfers with no interference from Agent agencies, The group WILL make transfer funds available to make this window a success and have now changed their stance of their original statement a couple of weeks ago that they hope to complete things within 2 weeks , its is now hoped Hughes can identify his targets and they can get them concluded before September the First

The knock on effect is Pavone has had his hotel room removed from him and has been sent packing.

How very strange.....That is the very letter (in it's entirety and word for word) that I read this morning as a letter in the LT from ONLYONESIMONGARNER, and which was following on from the article by Cryer which I referred to on the Transfer thread, and which it seemed, nobody could find. exclamation.gif

What, 404 error?

On a different note are we run by these guys? (I hope someone gets the reference)

Haha! Balaji has got to be Gob. Mrs D is probably Lucille. I can see Venkatesh being a Never Nude... We don't have a Michael Bluth, though. I think the closest we might have had was John Williams. I can imagine his exasperation at the family's incompetence being simila to Michael's. A cracking - yet scarily accurate - observation.

I have made a few investments in my life, some excellent and some bad but in view of what is going on at Rovers at the moment by far the worst is my investment for a season ticket for the coming season. Thank god it is only £170!

This will probably be deleted but I needed to get it off my chest.

And what exactly do you suggest we do?

A good first step would be to prove to fans that the info is correct, so that more people would stand behind it. Then talk to some friends that support Liverpool, and learn from them.

This was posted in the thread "Kean to go!!!!!!" by glen9mullan on the vitalfootball forums.

Talk about dejavu, I thought I was losing my marbles when I started to read BomBom's post.

Unfriended for the lack of originality :glare:

What news caught Rovers out today - not going to India? What other 'news. today has there really been?

If we lose all our best players i think we could expect a chant against Venky's and a few banners that's it. Rovers fans are crap at venting there frustrations. The younger ones not so much they will try and organize something via a social network were as the older heads will say the team need the fans behind them and we should stick together which is a load of old codswallop, as this will never achieve anything as we would still have them running the club like a circus the club is nothing without fans. :rover:
