rebelmswar Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 When I am playing games the sound has become very choppy like it needs to load it first even though the animation continues. This mostly happens on cut scenes. Anyone know how to fix this, or what the trouble is?

rebelmswar Posted July 6, 2011 Author Posted July 6, 2011 Update and a good tip. Hitting PS3 with a hammer and calling it a vicious @#/? does not work either. Neither does a full blown mantrum with added dog beating.
rebelmswar Posted July 6, 2011 Author Posted July 6, 2011 Chicken sacrifice an abject failure. Ordered goat. Thinking behind this idea is clouded by rage and hopless optimistic fantasies of success.
rebelmswar Posted July 6, 2011 Author Posted July 6, 2011 Has disc/laser cleansing been attempted? No, and just in time to save Gertrude the goat. Do I have to dismantle this ps3 to do this?
brian_gallagher85 Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Well not to clean the disc anyway - is it doing it on a number of games or just one? As for cleaning the laser there are various little packs you can buy but I'm not sure how successful they actually are.

Could blind a corpse. Multiple games Batman, farcry, force unleashed 2 ninja gaiden sigma etc.

I used to have a cheap one, it was basically a CD but had soft bristles underneath. It worked well whenever my PS2 used to start struggling. I don't know whether the inner workings of the PS3 are similar though.
rebelmswar Posted July 7, 2011 Author Posted July 7, 2011 Prayers to Jesus, Budda, and some obscure Hittite god have also met with no success. Goat - a dismal and messy failure. Have dyed turnips black and procured some silver cups, a black candle, and a virgin for next attempt.
rebelmswar Posted July 9, 2011 Author Posted July 9, 2011 Opened up PS3, cleaned entire interior and laser. - Fail Removed all dust. - fail Formated Hard drive - fail Threw another tantrum - fail Replaced AV cords - fail Upgraded to HDMI cords, gold tipped, crafted by God himself - fail. Tried on multiple TV's - fail. Beat dog - feel better, but Fail.
rebelmswar Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 Everyone can relax. My wife, worried by my crazed mutterings, and alters to random Japanese guys, bought me a new one.
rebelmswar Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 Fed up with the goats blood was she? That too. House looked like a Vietnamese farmers market.
