Skysports.com understands that Blackburn Rovers are ready to make a bid for Japanese superstar Keisuke Honda.

A host of clubs have been linked with the CSKA Moscow midfielder, with clubs in England, Italy, Spain and France all said to be keen.

But Rovers are now ready to try and make a move for the 25-year-old and are prepared to bid £12million for his signature.

Probably a mix up and our new shirt sponsor is honda knowing our look.

Either way it would be good ,honda would look good on the shirt :rover:

even if we did have a bid accepted for Honda it will be released in the media then allot of bigger clubs would match it.

CSKA quoted Juve £22m for him 9 days ago. Not sure how well our £12m bid will go down. Maybe we can throw in Kalinic to make up the difference

In that case we'd only need to throw in 10m to make up the difference... Lol

Won't happen. He was quoted as saying that he wouldn't move to England a few weeks or months back. Where do they find these stories?

Im guessing signing him would atleast treble shirt sales cant imagine we sell much more than 100,000 per season at the minute. When United signed park there shirt sales went from 1.2m to 1.5m shirts per season.

Which is why we should be looking at Park Chu Young the Korean striker from Monaco. Good player and very popular over there.

At the risk of letting myself get excited, what about £12 million plus Nicko (I know he is not worth £12 million) for Honda? That might get us fairly close to the figure they want

Not getting my hopes up. I've seen no signs our owners are willing to part with any significant sum of cash in regards to the club and Honda would command a hefty sum.
