Does anyone know how the Vieirinha pursuit is going?

Apparently we've got people over there talking to the club and his people. It's supposed to be quite complex, as there are sell on clauses, buy-out clauses and santa clauses to be sorted out! If would like this guy to sign. He's a youtube superstar. We could definitely use some more creativity in the side, so it's not just down to Hoilett or Formica.

It is Diego Milito. Not had it confirmed, hopefully talk to his agent in the morning. Apparently available for £8 million, face competition from his former club Genoa and Napoli.

Despite his injury record last season, he would be a fantastic signing.

Raul and Milito - wow if that happens, I mean wow !

That would be ridiculous and beyond our dreams at the end of last season if we had those two in our team !

does anyone know if Petrovics WP has been appealed and when we expect to hear back ? (nicko mentioned he hadn`t played enough international gamnes so an appeal was likely)

One of your countryman and also a huge Rovers fan. I've only seen the team run around live last year when i flew up to Sydney to watch them in the pre-season tournament but i'm finally after years of waiting/saving going to Ewood Park and a couple of other venues to see the lads in action over there in Feb-March and i can't wait!

Whilst you're having a good run at the moment, it's a bit harsh to say to say these are your links (certainly Raul and Podolski Kamy told me about a couple of days before they were mentioned on here). I think the difference is you admit you have one source (and given some pretty big hints as to who it is, which I'm sure will come back to haunt you) and are posting everything here as soon as you get it.

Kamy on the other hand, being a pro journalist, has dozens of sources, trusts none of the explicitly and has to check out each and every lead. He seems to spend half his life on the phone to agents, PR agents, former players, other journos etc checking the stories. Which is why he's sometime beaten to the punch.

That said, we're always looking for fresh ideas on the podcast, so if you think you've got enough to talk about for an hour, drop me a PM.
