Must say not 1 of those players has ever been mentioned by Zac, but we must assume that we have a number targets.

Only name I've heard about is Guardado and he would be a good addition. Had a cracking world cup for Mexico.

To enchance the speculation. IF There are 2 names in Dnipro we are after - maybe that is the reason the Kalinic deal is stalling?

I've deleted [edited] the post to remove Philip's re-post of Roverinsiders alleged list of players which he now doubts.

It was too much to hope that a significant portion of those alleged targets would have came together. Raul, Vieirinha, Soriano (to understate things), Anita and Guardado would have been outstanding acquisitions, in addition to Goodwillie and Petrovic.

And once again Roversinser talks rubbish, funny that Petrovic said it would take two weeks to get the hearing, nothing to do with Rovers messing around waiting for Kalinic cash.

Remember last time he posted huge lists? Later that day we were solidly linked to Goodwillie, one he didn't even mention.

The guy is pretty clueless but he is getting exactly what he wants from all this

I'm sorry but this is mostly BS. I don't know who this guy is but I seem to remember he did something similar last week with a whole bunch of names, none of them checked out and subsequently no bids for them.

Magically deemed good enough for Rovers, despite playing on one game. Did we even scout him? Highly doubtful.

I wonder who recommended the next Chris Smalling.

It's bloody obvious why he signed even my dog could figure it out, but lets all hope he cuts the mustard as opposed to sitting down and thinking about what's really going on with our transfers this summer.

He hasn't had the chance to prove himself atleast give him time before slating him, people were suggesting we sign D.J Campbell who just had a good season in the premiership but when he was 22 he was still playing for Billericay Town.

Playing being the operative word, Mighty Myles has 2 minutes of pitch time in his whole professional career and magically in those 2 minutes showed enough to be labelled the next Chris Smalling and a premier league contract.

We either have the best scouting system in the world or they are being ignored and transfers are being influenced by guess who?

That's one thing that we can't be accused of really.

He was here for a trial last summer (when Allardyce was around) and played a few games. I remember some of us thought 'Myles Anderson' was a pseudonym for a trialist.

Am I right in thinking it was Kean who suggested the trial to Allardyce though? I wonder who gave the recommendation to Kean in the first place? Kind of makes sense why Kentaro pushed Kean for the job now, doesn't it?

Can't say I've seen the lad play, and judging him by his record before coming here is certainly a dangerous game. We could fill the page with players that have flopped at clubs but gone on to be very good players at different clubs.

That said, he may still be rubbish, I’ve just not seen him to judge, mate said he was ok in the friendly the other week, didn't look out of place.

Would you prefer Big Sam style of play or Steve Keans style? I have to say that we play much more attractive football under Kean than under Fat SAM!

Is it anyone than me that believes that Mark Hughes could be involved at rovers? He's still unemployed and a lot believed he would be in at Chelsea. Watch this space!

I have seen him play and also had some comments from former Scottish footballers who says he is well out of his depth in the Scottish league (Obviously not even getting a game at Orient either was a good pointer!!
