I think I would still rather sign Clyne knowing he is out for a while instead of bringing in Ribiero!

Oh, absolutely! But, ya know as well as I do, it could just be paper waffle.

EDIT:

And, to echo another posters question...what exactly is going on with Mongongu and his passport? Is that transfer still 'live' or what?

We are desperately short of cover in central defence. Assuming, that is, Samba is on his way. Even then PJ still needs replacing.

Yes surely as a new owner they would have to take out a mortgage facility like the trust had? They couldnt keep a credit agreement in old owners names surely?

I give up. Tell him Phillip.

I don't think he will understand until he sees Rovers at the bottom of the PL transfer league on 1 September.

I would rather see us near the top of a "successful PL transfers" league on 14th May.

Villa have gained 35 million and spent 9.5 million so over 25 million recouped- that's all they are spending, so no Phillip we will not be bottom.

Why didn't have the common decency to slink away after the Ali Syed fiasco? About the only thing that can be said about you is that you have some brass neck.

You wrote something that was incorrect IMO I countered.

Is the above your standard response when you 'have been found out' here's a thought why don't you support why you are correct?

To be fair he's only pointing out a fact there, you raised a point and he refuted it with decent reasoning.

Just shows how inadequate your reading is.

I put my hand up when wrong.

Now where is Venky's promised investment in Rovers?

Are they going to put their hands up and say they have totally ###### up our club?

And you are determined to undermine everthing they do and say whatever happens. You won't give them any kind of chance. You put them down everttime they speak. You always take any negative remark from the media and use it as fact. Pot and Kettle.

If they do maybe they will.

Still, cheer up, we could be Santander. Couldn't we?

What you do Phillip is make snide comments at people who have a differing opinion to you and when a reasoned response is given you disappear, your ramblings are getting quite bizarre.

Give phillipl a ban for continuously going off topic, off to the same topic..i say! Lol

With regard to transfers..i dont think we'll be getting striker til near or on deadline day. Its the only hope we have to get a cut price deal.

They bought Darren Bent for £24 million in January, so it's easy to see why they need to balance the books a bit.

They have one ready-made replacement out wide with Marc Alrighton anyway, so only needed to buy one more winger.

When did Clyne get injured? as Grooby says he has had the Ribeiro story ready for over a week but the fa hasn't processed his registration yet hence no announcement
