Some guy on twitter saying Rondon from Malaga. Price of EUR15m sounds too high for us though.

who knows how much moneu we really have, only a week ago it was quoted as much as 50 million again.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a lot and I wouldn't been surprised if it was not

I'm 50/50.

Who do we want then lads.. I want it to be someone with premier league goals to their name. Defoe would be my dream.

1. Raul

2. Crouch

3. Podolski

4. Rondon

5. Milito

We'll see if anything comes out of this rumour, and possibly find out who is paying for it.

I'd like Onhura on a loan-to-buy deal if we don't buy him outright as well

wont be very good, nicko said we are only looking to spend a piddly £3-4 million on a striker, raul talks arent going very well. Funny isnt it? we are willing so splash out 4 million on left wing, an area we arent too bad in and yet we are probably going to spend 3.5 mil on one area we are desperate on, go figure. We might get a league 2 player in then, shame venkys and kean have no brain.

you still believe everything nicko rights, dont forget he just out to sell papers, when was the last time nicko was 100% right this transfer window he been very slow on reporting on rovers and has only reported bad news regarding rovers, and yes i did get the info from glenn thats why i posted it cause glenn seams to be nearly right on everything and i trust what he says

We badly need someone who can spot a pass and has some forward creativity in midfield ala tugay . I would love to see Scott Parker at ewood

I think Formica has shown more than enough this pre-season to fill this void. Petrovic would further add on the ball ability so i don't think there is much to worry about there mate.

Evans on loan would be quite the coup, especially given how Mame Diouf turned out on loan for us and SAF's relationship with Big Sam. He's amazingly still only 23 and IMHO he's almost Champions League quality - not quite good enough for United, but good enough for a top six outfit and if we lost Samba he'd be comfortably our best centre back given Nelsen's injuries.

Onuoha would be a solid signing but after his season at Sunderland I'm not convinced he's anything special and he'll want big money to leave City, regardless of them pushing him out of the door. Plus John Williams is charged with getting rid of him - can you see him doing Venky's any favours?

GTF isn't really a striker. He's no better than Keith Andrews, either.

I think you might be in a majority of one with that one.

Quick finisher is what we ideally need, show a bit of intent.

we have enough squad players we need proven quality now or its going to be a long hard season gary taylor-fletcher is championship player at best

Can't see sturridge goin anywhere this year, he's bin quality pre season for chelsea

just found him, will take anything on twitter with a pinch of salt but you never know, it is a bit random for him to come out with something like that and we were linked earlier in the summer with him
