Many people used to enjoy his input, a shame that he was forced off the board. Along with a small number of people asking Kamy not to reveal names until bids are accepted, we would know the name of the striker by now but for some strange reason a small few stamp there feet when a reported target does not sign.

If we do manage to secure a good striker I wonder if venkys could have avoided a lot of reputational damage by making the signing early in the window. If we'd set our stall with one high profile signing right at the start of the window we may not have had as much bad feeling from fans and the press.

We were linked with Ronaldinho, doesn't mean it would ever happen. But yes he does sound exciting, I just hope we can get him in before the Wolves game. Then he can come off the bench to bag the winner!

Would love it to be Huntelaar. He's only 26 and played for some of the biggest teams in Europe and the world and would certainly be a striker who would score goals. He along with Hoilett, Formica, Rochina, Roberts, Goodwillie and Vierinha if he signs, would give us some great attacking options.

He's almost 28 so I don't think he would fit in to the 'young' category which is described of said player. Don't get me wrong though I would love it if it was him.
