chris Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Benjani? I thought the local paper said he had signed. Like it matters... LET said 12th July "Rovers’ decision to offer the 32-year-old striker another contract has raised eyebrows among some supporters this summer, after scoring just three goals in 18 league appearances last campaign." They didn;t say he had signed but he was offered a contract.

Amo Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Anyway off the point i know, if Kean had any sense he would offloadGivet Dunn Grella ANDREWS!! Goulon Roberts Diouf Flop this lot and start putting in some sensible acceptable offers! Yeah, 'cos offloading them lot will be easy as pie. There's a reason most of them are still at Rovers, bub. And wouldn't it be nice to sign a few players before we talk of letting people go?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Benjani not signing means a chance for Blackman and Rochina to be given more of a chance at pushing for a place in the first team. They might not be ready for a regular place but it at least gets them closer to showing us what they can do. Best news so far in this transfer window in my opinion.
nicko Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 And you're winning in the race to get the most stories wrong. Notch that one up too. Remind me who broke the banking problem story again? It seems so long ago now. And nice to see the local rag catch up with Raul. For the second summer running.
brfcshabba Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Remind me who broke the banking problem story again? It seems so long ago now. And nice to see the local rag catch up with Raul. For the second summer running. I thought it was @roversinsider... oh
A cup of beans Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 LET said 12th July "Rovers’ decision to offer the 32-year-old striker another contract has raised eyebrows among some supporters this summer, after scoring just three goals in 18 league appearances last campaign." They didn;t say he had signed but he was offered a contract. check the stories from a couple of weeks prior to that, chris! you might find another story or 2!

For the second summer running. I heard that LET have been aware of the bank loan for a while but don't consider it an important enough issue to cover, infact they still have not covered it its a non story and didn't even ask Kean about it as far as I am aware. I almost wonder if the bank loan story was introduced as a way of saying "I said they had 50 million, all these bogus stories and now I need a way out, bring up the bank loan, perfect". I guess we will find out if we need to sell Andrews to raise cash in the next few weeks, you could be proven right hey.
Fylde Coast Fan Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I *HOPE* that the sheer number of bizarre conflicting tales coming out of our club right now is some kind of devious plan designed to expose who's telling tales to who. Utterly insane at the moment, I've been avoiding the forums and the LT comment threads because I'll go insane if I try to keep track of it all. Hope Honda is true, just to prove we've got some cash. I'd like to just follow along with Cryer's version of events, I think.
nicko Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I thought it was @roversinsider... oh The beauty [?] of the internet and Twitter is that you can check the timings... Better things to do with my time myself. On the Kean-Jensen India flight thing there is one bizarre reason why Jensen was still here today...so was Kean...problems with their flights. Watch that one appear on somebody else's Twitter any minute now. Even more bizarre. Rovers are sending the players on TWO separate flights tomorrow. I heard that LET have been aware of the bank loan for a while but don't consider it an important enough issue to cover, infact they still have not covered it its a non story and didn't even ask Kean about it as far as I am aware. Then you say there wasn't a story in the first place. So all of the financial metldown of the past three weeks didn't happen? You're good. I didn't say you had to sell Andrews to buy a player. I said you were going to sell Kalinic. Local paper missed where he was going too. You obviously got confused. Surprised at that. And while we are at it...I think you need to interfere with yourself less, judging by the pic.

BTW.. check the benjani stories or are you ignoring that ??
brfcshabba Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Even more bizarre. Rovers are sending the players on TWO separate flights tomorrow. They did that with the Australia trip last year so not too bizarre - Thanks to Grooby for that info
A cup of beans Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 They did that with the Australia trip last year so not too bizarre - Thanks to Grooby for that info begs a question.. that being.. why though, doesnt it ??
Ossydave Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 begs a question.. that being.. why though, doesnt it ?? Dan Furness (poster on here) probably sorted the flights, and he's crap at his job

Guest Rovers4Good Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Even more bizarre. Rovers are sending the players on TWO separate flights tomorrow. They fly out on Sat not tomorrow.
Makey11 Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 This board is ###### pathetic! Why the (Please don't use that word again) are you muppets actually trying to claim bragging rights over who broke what! Nobody but you cares!!! Now go find a gf like the rest of us and get a life!!! Im only putting what everyone else on here is thinking.....
scotty_beam_me_up Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 They fly on separate flights for insurance reasons. They fly on separate flights for insurance reasons.
2PAC 4 Blackburn Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 begs a question.. that being.. why though, doesnt it ?? Big corporate businesses will not let a big amount of their staff on one flight, probably insurance reasons. Planning for the worse maybe? Or got cheaper flights?? Ha ha.

gumboots Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 They fly on separate flights for insurance reasons. They fly on separate flights for insurance reasons. Is that why you had to post it twice too?
2PAC 4 Blackburn Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 They fly out on Sat not tomorrow. Think you will find it's tomorrow for sure. Samba even said on twitter he leaves tomorrow for HK.
hawkiiz Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Thomas Hitzlsperger was at Molineux today. Would love to have him at Ewood... You will on the opening day of the season I guess
BuckyRover Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 It was not my good self that said he was being groomed for the role. You suggested it was a crazy idea to give a 33 year old a coaching role, as if he was in nappies? He's the same age as Villas Boas. But looks older
True Blue & White Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Thomas Hitzlsperger was at Molineux today. Would love to have him at Ewood... Kean and Hitzelberger might have the same Motoring Lawyer.
