Josh Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 I was expecting something a little more interesting, none of that is really new or suprising
Ricky Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 So keef is on over £20k and grella £30k. Nice work if you can get it!!
BiggusLaddus Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 So the big revelation is that Grella and Diouf are on a bit less than expected and Andrews is in a but more.
Ruaney Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Blackburn-Rovers-reveal-salaries-of-El-Hadji-Diouf-Vince-Grella-and-Keith-Andrews-in-secret-list-to-hurry-exits-article782861.html I'm surprised that Diouf is only earning that much (expected it to be alot more) and I am equally surprised that Kalinic is earning 30k (thought it'd be much less) I'm not convinced these are correct...
ScottishRover Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Blackburn-Rovers-reveal-salaries-of-El-Hadji-Diouf-Vince-Grella-and-Keith-Andrews-in-secret-list-to-hurry-exits-article782861.html Thats a good thing
Billy Castell Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Blackburn-Rovers-reveal-salaries-of-El-Hadji-Diouf-Vince-Grella-and-Keith-Andrews-in-secret-list-to-hurry-exits-article782861.html Interesting way of going about this. It might put clubs off though, especially Grella. With luck, those wages will be seen as reasonable, and we can get rid of them.
JAL Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Blackburn-Rovers-reveal-salaries-of-El-Hadji-Diouf-Vince-Grella-and-Keith-Andrews-in-secret-list-to-hurry-exits-article782861.html Nickos really going to war with Venky's on these revealing figures. Will anybody in the UK want to deal with Venky's and Rovers if these sort of things are being published.
niggit Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Worth a try getting rid off them. Not as bad as I might of thought with wages. 6k extra per game for Grella. Safest bet in the world.
Balwer Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 So if we get rid of Grella, Andrews and Diouf we've almost got enough wages to get Roque back?
Ricky Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Could the revelation be the clear breach of data protection by publishing individual private contract details?? I know the information comissioner has had a field day recently with local governments. Wonder if there could be an issue if the players complain.

No legal expert but thats personal data nickos published is it not ?
yeti-dog Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Don't see what the negativity thread hangers-on can do with that. It looks like we're trying to be proactive in getting rid of some of the deadwood. If we really do want a fresh start those are certainly four I'd be looking to get rid of. Ultimately,it just emphasises the lunacy of modern day football when four such distinctly average footballers can bleed a club of around £120,00 per week.

I know the information comissioner has had a field day recently with local governments. Wonder if there could be an issue if the players complain. Or was the Indian guy blagged by Nicko, pretending to be a manager/chairman etc. of a club in order to obtain this information? Most job applications ask for your current and previous wages, but then it is the applicant who supplies that information.
Backroom Tom Posted August 7, 2011 Backroom Posted August 7, 2011 I wonder if Kamy had another story in mind when he said it would be greeted with negativity (more or less), to me that non story isn't negative really, certainly not for the current owners anyway, it may be an odd way to try and sell the players but no more than that.
Mercer Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Not too much evidence of negotiation on Rovers' behalf with several at a round number of £30k. If it was my business, would negotiate every single grand. Like the idea of a 'pay as you play' but would endeavour to make that a bigger part with a lower basic. Know it's easier said than done but conditional value should be a key part of any negotiation.
yeti-dog Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 John Williams clearly favoured the number 30....
Veevs Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 He's a very talented player. He is realistic for us, we can't afford the big stars yet. I'm confident that Rondon would be a very good striker for Rovers. He has all the attributes to suit the Premiership which is a huge plus. I don't get the realistic part.. Malaga are one of the up and coming teams in Europe with good management, very very rich ownership (ManC level) and a limited number of strikers atm.. I really don't get why they would sell their top young asset and why he would think we are a step up.
Speedie Dived Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 I am going to ring Andrews agent in the morning, a pay rise every 5 games! Have I read that right?
chris Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 "El Hadji Diouf – told he is unwanted by Kean – is also on £30,000 a week and a further £5,000 per game. West Ham would like to take him on loan but the demand is for his pay to be made in full to Rovers". Not very well written, I am trying to work out if he is saying Blackburn must pay his wages or west ham.

Would love hernandez to be honest

No, this is not information held by a public authority.

Commondore Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 "El Hadji Diouf – told he is unwanted by Kean – is also on £30,000 a week and a further £5,000 per game. Not very well written, I am trying to work out if he is saying Blackburn must pay his wages or west ham. Why on earth would we loan out Diouf while still paying every penny of his wages? I'd rather have him sitting out his contract in the reserves!

I can't see this happening.
