Krish Naidoo- the risk Rovers have is one of straws on the camel's back. It appears that Venky's operating philosophy is that rules and laws are there to be broken, bent or generally bought out. There is a mass of stuff sitting in files at the PL and FA about Rovers but with Kentaro around they knew exactly how far to go and the smoking gun which would have allowed the timid football authorities to act never appeared.

Now Kentaro are no longer involved, their infrastructure which prevented Mrs D from over stepping the mark has disappeared. She appears to be have been totally ignorant of how things that directly impact something as important as millions of ponds of cash flow work so I doubt she has ploughed her way through the FA and PL rule books.

Goodwillie- a name that had been around quite some time before I started the thread which went up when I felt pretty convinced it would happen. It actually took an inordinate amount of time to get the signature on the contract.

[/size]

1. You have always said that FA and authorities have been waiting to pounce on Rovers BECAUSE of Kentaro and JA, now they "knew exactly how far to go?" which is it?

2. Kentaro are NOW perceived to have been our saviours because Mrs. D is "totally ignorant", whereas before Mrs D was the smart, intelligent woman who was taken advantage of by Kentaro and JA- allegedly, according to you- which is it?

3. Finally the Goodwillie thread, you merely posted a link to the Guardian (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jul/29/blackburn-rovers-david-goodwillie-dundee0united), "I felt convinced it would happen"- as far as I am aware NO one on the message board hinted even at this signing, yet you know claim insider info... mmm... "inordinate time to get the signature" July 29th was the date on the article, he signed on 3rd August- THREE working days.

Yep, re-read them both Phil. You now hail Kentaro as the savious that kept the Rao's out of trouble, yet previously they were the big bad wolf.

You seem to be struggling to keep up with your own views.

Philip does nothing of the sort, he's just making the point that despite Kentaro's shortcomings, at least they know the rules. Doesn't make them "saviours".

Can you not move all of that to the cock waggling thread Ricky, been on here to read about transfer news and spend the last two pages reading a squabble that isn`t really that relevant to the thread.

Both are entilted to their opinions, let it rest and lets get back to transfers liek Rondon, Petrovic and the PAOK chappy !

Skysports linking Bendtner to Stoke and Dortmund.

Maybe a move to Dortmund will open up for us getting Lucas Barrios! ;)

Looking at the transfer overwiev.

Surprised by the lack of transfer actitivy from Stoke, Wigan, Bolton, Everton us and Spurs.

True, especially Stoke. Everton are skint, Bolton have bought Mears, Eagles and Pratley but not a striker you'd have thought they needed, especially when Elmander went on a free and Sturridge back to Chelsea....

Re Bendtner - Heard a little tidbit on 5 live last night. He was asked about if he was leaving, and he replied 'yes'. When asked whether he would be leaving for Stoke apparently he burst out laughing!

There is no chance he would join us, or any other team outside the top 6. He seems to have the opinion that such clubs would be 'beneath him'.

Personally I think this lad's a chump, and as Booth alluded to, he actually is'nt that good either. He has had plenty of chances in the team, and personally I had the misfortune of seeing him play live 3 times last season. There was obviously potential there, but he is one to avoid IMO.

He will end up at a mid to high range Europa League team.

Oh and I see Sky Sources are as relaible as ever!

I think that Bolton could be in trouble unless they sign a striker.

Stoke are going to get busy over the next week or so with deals for Palacios, Upson and now according to Sky Sports Bendtner lined up, they already have a pretty decent squad. I can see David Moyes walking out of Everton soon if the money situation doesn't change.

That is rubbish Ricky. He just basically said kentario know the rule book. Whereas Mrs D does not appear to do so. The post was not lifting up kentario at all. Why the constant sniping?

Reading Nicko's tweets to the Notlobs, Coye is chasing at least three players, SWP a striker and one other, all very close but not over the line.

Doubt Sturridge will be going anywhere with the price on his head, again Nicko to the notlobs when asked about Sturridge, not this time then in a futher comment he made, 3m loan fee, I'm assuming it was Sturridge.

I think Sturridge will end up there on loan again now that Chelsea have bought Lukaku.

He more or less ruled it out yesterday and said thanks but nows the time to fight at Chelsea.

He is also expected to start on saturday for Chelsea, ahead of Torres. He'd be daft to move on - one injury and he has a great chance to prove himself this season.

Doesn't look like it, new manager rates him highly, I can't see him going anywhere until at least January, who wouldn't play him? He's quick, hardly misses and is bang on form.

Quality player

so you sayng were in for rondon then ?

I think its safe to assume we are, given the chatter and non denial over the last couple of days, and then Nicko confirmign we couldn`t get him on loan. Think its fair to say we have been in dialogue with agent or club potentially reading between the lines.

I still don`t know anythign about him mind, is he quick, tall, finisher, good in the air, skillful - I hadn`t heard of him to be honest

no.. just what was reported in the press.

he was away at the copa america at the time..

think it was a few days before the 1st match.

didnt hear anything about discussions with his club or his agent.. back then.

think 7m came from nicko.. he was the younger cheaper striker in the 50m budget.

on youtube he looks to have all of those attributes.
