Steve Moss Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Krish Naidoo is not an agent, hence Nicko - in the mirror - saying Rovers are on thin ice. But does he have to be an agent to advertise players if he is a Rovers employee? Were John Williams and Tom Finn agents? Are hands on managers in the transfer markets agents? By my reading of the posted rules, clubs do not have to employ agents if they are acting through an employee. Or is that incorrect?
Eddie Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 We may well have been waiting to see if Petrovic got his work permit before shipping Andrews out. Good for the club and the player.
Rover & Out Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I cant see how we are according to most media so certain for the drop when we have swanse, qpr, wigan, bolton, everton, wolves, aston villa and norwich. You can throw Newcastle into that group too. Losing Nolan, the likely departure of Barton and no indication that they'll replace Carroll's goals.
AmazinTim Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 It's official, we got him: http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~2414652,00.html

In which case he will have a contract of employment with a PAYE ref. otherwise he is self employed and reverts back to a possible complication.
Backroom Tom Posted August 9, 2011 Backroom Posted August 9, 2011 It's official, we got him: http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~2414652,00.html Thanks Obama Good day if Keith is going out on loan, we are just 2 or 3 signings away from it coming together now.

Too be honest, I have no idea. But Nicko saying in the mirror that Rovers are on thin ice, may indicate things not being done correctly at the club.
Nelsta Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Skysports say we now face a race against time to complete his registration for the opening game. Get a shifty on rovers.
MarkBRFC Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Skysports say we now face a race against time to complete his registration for the opening game. Get a shifty on rovers. Can't imagine he would play on Saturday anyway, his first day at the club probably wont be untill Friday!
daveoftherovers Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Petrovic onboard! Quality signing!!! Agreed, onwards and upwards
chaddyrovers Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Thanks Obama Good day if Keith is going out on loan, we are just 2 or 3 signings away from it coming together now. just sign a defender, vieirinha and striker to sign now and I would be happy with the squad. We could maybe sign a couple of loan players from the Man City, Spurs and Liverpool to improve the squad aswell maybe as a option as the window comes close to closer. Probably sign RSC on loan.
67splitscreen Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Reading Nicko's tweets to the Notlobs, Coye is chasing at least three players, SWP a striker and one other, all very close but not over the line. Doubt Sturridge will be going anywhere with the price on his head, again Nicko to the notlobs when asked about Sturridge, not this time then in a futher comment he made, 3m loan fee, I'm assuming it was Sturridge. Looks like one of the players is Tuncay loan, SSN broke it, Nicko missed the bonus ball.

I know it was denied but imagine Gibson, Onuhua and a striker now, we'd be stronger than last season then IMO. Petrovic Nzonzi Hoilett Gibson Formica New striker I'd be happy with that 5 in midfield personally although Formica obviously has to prove himself he has potential to be a star

If that happen then we are alot stronger than last season depending on who we get as the striker

Backroom Tom Posted August 9, 2011 Backroom Posted August 9, 2011 Id have Rochina in from the start over Formica, Rochina has shown more promise to date True but both remain question marks at present, we know Olsson can play there but will be required at LB at first at least.
Toodling Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Id have Rochina in from the start over Formica, Rochina has shown more promise to date But doesnt Rochina prefer to play on the right where as I remember roberts saying Formica has a sweet left peg. As has been said Jusy will be out on both in the first few games.
XLM Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Too be honest, I have no idea. But Nicko saying in the mirror that Rovers are on thin ice, may indicate things not being done correctly at the club. He is paid to write stories, whether there is anythinng to write or not.
67splitscreen Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Formica would get the nod from me too, scored1 and an assist in the first team, Rochina ????? prove me wrong.
