Neal Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Why are we discussing which foot Pedersen used to accomplish nothing for the past 2 seasons? Is this not the TRANSFER CHAT thread? P.S. Not having a go.

Uxbridge rover Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 He is definitely right handed/footed but has been said, his father pushed him to use his left peg as good left footers are in short supply. Sorry, quite right back on topic.
Bazzanotsogreat Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 He is crap end of. One of the trusts many mistakes giving him a long term £40-50k a week contarct. Should of been sold years ago For me pace up front is essential, must be a priority. Im guessing that the mystery striker never materialised
scotty_beam_me_up Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Stoke have signed Matt Upson. After speaking to a few West Ham fans last season I think we have dodged a bullet there. He will be on big money and will no doubt be spending a bit of time keeping Woodgate company in the physio department.
Neal Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Is no-one else fearful of the Hoilett contract situation? I've been calm about it for too long and it's wearing off on me now. Starting to get very worried, something is not right else it would have been sorted months ago. I think the fans who have renewed (such as me) deserve to know if this lad is going to be here next season.
67splitscreen Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 @Fourth_Official Fourth Official Stockport County have offered Benjani a contract, the former Manchester City striker is currently training with the side #Stockport 19 hours ago via web How dare he turn down our offer.

Im guessing its the buy out clause maybe thats holding it up? Or he is waiting to see what happens regarding transfers this summer before he signs. But like i said. I think he will sign off what olsson said

Roversi Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 We should stay away from Keane in my veiw, at 31 he has one, maybe two good years left in him at this demanding level. Fee and Wages would be important, anything over 3 mill would be a no-go and he would have to lower his wages to join us. No doubting he is a good player and his record speaks for itself he is a goal scorer, but i just feel he isn't the type of striker we should be looking for. I'd much rather a bigger striker who can provide a focal point to our attacks. At this rate i'd take Santa Cruz on a permanent if we cant get another striker on board in another week or two.
chocky Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Robbie Keane will be one of the best srtikers we've signed in a while. He will be able to shine at Rovers. Here's hoping.
goodwillie_style Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 he's a good player, imagine wages are horrific though, would'nt grumble signing keane but hardly the exciting new striker we've been built up to expect I'm thinking this will; be benjani's replacement as he doesn't look like he coming, we are 4 strikers short of last season, we have brought one in ,keane hopefully the second and then the mystery striker

I'd sooner we sign no one than sign him again. Just shows the differing opinion on the board eh.
goodwillie_style Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 also just been confirmed shane long has signed for west brom
Neal Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Sports presenter from TV3 has just tweeted this: "Keane says it's likely he'll leave Spurs ahead of new season. No new club yet but says he wouldn't play in championship".
chaddyrovers Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 answer this then, benjani or robbie keane Keane everyday of the week!!!
rookie2009 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 on facebook Patrick Coleman has said this:- on the news here in ireland robbie keane will sign for blackburn rovers by the end of the week hes been talking on tv3 news I watched the keane speaking about his future on rte...pretty sure he didnt mention us specifically, all he was doing was talking about how he hopes to sort something in the next week or so and avoid dropping to play in the championship so i wouldnt read too much into that facebook comment chaps..
Roversi Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 answer this then, benjani or robbie keane Keane..but i think i think we should be looking at a more complete striker.
goodwillie_style Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Keane..but i think i think we should be looking at a more complete striker. keane wont be the main striker but we need squad players were running thin, with just goodwillie and roberts as recognised strikers we have 4 less strikers from last season but we cant go out and spend 6 million on them all we have to try and get a few bargains, keane would fill the void left by benjani and in my eyes is a better player to have come of the bench than benjani so I would accept that as an improvement on last season
HATRIX Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Pedersen is right footed, plus right footers play on the left these days because they can cut inside. It was rochina who roberts was to have said "He's got a left wand".But yes wingers often do play on there weaker side these days to cut inside and shoot.
Eddie Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Pretty sure that he was talking about Formica when he said that.
