chaddyrovers Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I wonder if the spanish striker is Roberto Soldado from Valencia that Kean mention today that we put in a bid for 12 mil but his club want 18 million. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/roberto-soldado/profil/spieler_34870.html

Sandy84 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 It aint a bet, JAL. If we stay up... We stay up and you are wrong, friend!
1864roverite Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I think you should chnage your post Zac where Rovers interest is concerned about onuorah. We HAVE an interest, we HAVE talked to City about him and the fee for him is NOT £6M is £4m, as sunderland have already been quoted. 3 clubs are in for him (or where) as City have quoted. Bolton, Rovers and Sunderland.
JAL Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 It aint a bet, JAL. If we stay up... We stay up and you are wrong, friend! I'll be more than happy if i'm wrong Sandy, and will definitely hold my hands up.
Billy Castell Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 We'll sign RSC or Benjiani again, and not a real goal scorer. I have this feeling about it. Don't know about Onhura, but I'd be in favour of a move, and/or Yobo. I'd like both if Samba went. And is Henley not to be confused with Hanley, the jock central defender?
A cup of beans Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I think you should chnage your post Zac where Rovers interest is concerned about onuorah. We HAVE an interest, we HAVE talked to City about him and the fee for him is NOT £6M is £4m, as sunderland have already been quoted. 3 clubs are in for him (or where) as City have quoted. Bolton, Rovers and Sunderland. ive long said sunderland and bolton are after him. where do you get the 4m info from.. ?? we havent bid for him.. have we ?? so therefore got nowhere. the player himself is unaware of any rovers info.. as of earlier in the week. my brother is a friend of his. played with him at city.
jones_rover Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 So we now have; Goodwillie - a young rooney Anderson - the new chris smalling Kean doesn't half like putting pressure on our new signings does he! Is he gonna label ribeiro the new maicon or something?
Kelbo Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 We'll sign RSC or Benjiani again, and not a real goal scorer. I have this feeling about it. Don't know about Onhura, but I'd be in favour of a move, and/or Yobo. I'd like both if Samba went. And is Henley not to be confused with Hanley, the jock central defender? Yes, Adam Henley is a 17 year old (JUST GONE 17) and he played for the ressies against Man U and Chelsea, played Oberton out of the game v Man U on his wrong side (right full back) when his real position is left full back, he was 16 years old when he played against Oberton, thats some performance, I feel this lad will come good, ability, mentality and attitude.
yankrover Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 So we now have; Goodwillie - a young rooney Anderson - the new chris smalling Kean doesn't half like putting pressure on our new signings does he! Is he gonna label ribeiro the new maicon or something? That young Rooney quote really made me laugh. Wayne had already been sold for 24 million pounds by the time he was Goodwillie's age.
BRFC1995 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 does anyone even doubt than santa is coming back,........no links, no fantasy mates feeding me lies just a gut feeling that can't be shaken. Don't rate N'zonzi too highly myself and the serb lad is a complete unknown so center mid and a striker other than santa are desparately needed, fullback positions need strenghening but if push comes to shove we can find temporary fixes in those positions within the squad.
patrickvalery Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Don't forget Formica is a young Batistuta! We'll need him to be because Benjani is a young Nathan Blake and Nick Blackman is a young Benjani.
Boylerhaus Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 So we now have; Goodwillie - a young rooney Anderson - the new chris smalling Kean doesn't half like putting pressure on our new signings does he! Is he gonna label ribeiro the new maicon or something? Hasn't he already called Ribeiro Denis Irwin
pick32 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Couldn't disagree more watched Henley a few times now looks quality and the only time I've seen him outclassed was against Obertan, he got the better of him everytime and was just too strong for him.
roverandout Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 wish that bald headed c*nt would keep his mouth shut, whats hoilett a young shaun wright phillips?
donnermeat Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I'm calling it now that we aren't going to make another cash signing this transfer window. I can just feel it in my bones. Don't rate N'zonzi too highly myself I'm with you on that one. Had a solid first season, considering where he come from, but I don't think he was outstanding. Nor should he have won the player of the year. However when he came back into the side towards the end of last season I think he looked a far better player and he performed really well. After two years in the Premier League, I think he will get much better this year as well.
pick32 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 wish that bald headed c*nt would keep his mouth shut, whats hoilett a young shaun wright phillips? No he is better
roverandout Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 yep ur right, but knowing baldy, that would be the type of comment he would come out with.

Ripleys love child Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Answer honestly; how old are you? I think he's about 10 mate
roverandout Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 no im a very disgruntled rovers fan, as for kean's comments in the telegraph, were rovers interested in paying 12 million for a player or is that more bullsh*t?
Neal Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2025043/Spurs-striker-Robbie-Keane-set-join-Leicester-City.html? This says Keane to Leicester... Days after he was on TV stating that he will not drop down to the championship.
