Its coming out now :angry: after philipl has been for so long continually hounded on these negative matters concerning the club.

The negativity towards philipl has become a bit of a joke now.......bit like school ground stuff!

He has his opinions, and tbh i agree with alot of them.

One thing seems very clear is that they Venky's arent putting any of their own money in.

Looks like they are trying to deflect criticism by putting a Royal charity on the shirt and renaming the Blackburn end after Ronnie.

£12m Spanish striker is wishful thinking, figments of an imagination, IMO.

Go on then... IMO.

Venkys have spent around £30 million on the club (not including any pay off to BFS). Samba training alone because he's doing fitness work. Nicko whining because he's lost all contacts within the club. Wha wha wha.

[EDIT] Forgot the Kalinic money, so it's around £24 million.

More rubbish from nicko, I'd be suprised if 50% of that article was true

Just because it's not what you want to hear or read does not mean it's not true. I would say it's a pretty accurate and fair summing up of the state of the club at present.

This. Same old same old. We knew about the budget adjustment ages ago really.

At last the season begins. Something else to talk about. This crazy window has took it's toll on all of us in some way I imagine.

I would not pay much attention to the Mirror article to be honest.

I'm not sure what Nixon's motives are but they appear to be trying to derail Venkys and destroy any remaining morsel of credibility that the club has with Kean et al at the helm. The quote has been adapted as it is printed elsewhere with no mention of Danny Welbeck.

That is not just lazy journalism but completely reckless.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I respect your right to voice yours.

Unfortunately, again IMO, almost every decision Venky's have made has been sh1t and it's time that they started to listen to people who know what they are on about where football is concerned eg John Williams, Tom Finn.

Theres a few more quotes in the guardian article which was published a good 28 minutes earlier,and we know nicko always told us to check the timings of articles that are published...

Chris, some supporters have been saying that ever since Venky's took over. First, it was the end of Jan's window, then it was the end of the season, then it became when we kick-off for 2011/12, now folk are looking at the end of August's window and now some are advocating longer !

A leopard doesn't change its spots and the dye (or die for the grammatically challenged) is, IMO, well and truly cast.

Reading that Guardian article show's just how biased and selective Nicko has been with his article. What a pathetic little man he is, the way his article is worded makes it sound like he is in the know and privy to special info, whereas these are publicly available quotes that he is simply manipulating to fit in with his agenda. The toy's have well and truly been thrown out of the pram by him and he is so far behind other's - including some of those on this board - as far as his knowledge of our club and it's goings on, that as a source of valuable information goes, Nicko has become redundant at best and truly laughable at worst.

i dont think nicko has an agenda against rovers at all. he has a soft spot for the club, otherwise, for example, why would he take an hour of his time to be on radio lancs the other night? Its just that some people, when they hear things they dont want to, want to have a pop at him. I have more respect for his opinion than some on here.

To be fair I don't always agree with him, and not particularly in this post either, but I can't believe he is getting negative votes for this lol.
