I doubt he'd laugh. If anything, the prospect of being back with Salgado and playing in the one league out of the top three that he HASN'T, would be a very attractive proposition... especially with £60k a week.

I meant hes laughing at our drink drive inexperienced no mark manager. Maybe he would have given us more of thought if we had a known and respected manager. Maybe not. but surely having a manager and owners combined who dont know their arse from his elbow doesnt help. Maybe if one of them did we would have more of a chance to sign decent players who would make a huge difference to our team

No, it has been said within the last few weeks that he wasn't happy there. I'm sure I have seen that.

If this doesn't happen, can't really blame Venky's. They never leaked the story, in fact they have tried to keep it quiet.

Spot on there Kamy. Rovers did everything correctly and through the proper channels. wait for people to start blaming the owners NOW!

The owners have shown that they are willing to spend money.

The owners need to now fund 4 new players to improve the squad.

we need a CB, FB and 2 strikers at Least. Olsson needs to play on the left wing and not a left back! On Saturday we miss his pace on the left wing.

Something is wrong here, I would have thought, well anyone with sense, would have got Salgado to test the water first, if they didnt, its poor again or, something changed since Salgado spoke to Raul!

It must be one of the two for its an unwritten law in football, before you go for a player, you find out if that particular player has an interest in joining, then its down to terms and Transfer fees.

But it didnt get that far, WHY???

Puzzling, as my information was Raul wanted to come, so whats changed?????

Probably all the p*ss taking since the story broke. I heard Talk Sport's reporting of it earlier and the first question they asked their German correspondent was "Why on earth would he want to play for Blackburn Rovers?" and Twitter was the same. If you read/heard people taking the mick out of a club would you then want to join them?

Also, isn't he chasing a Champions League record from Inzaghi or something?

It will be on transfer deadline day that we sign two previously unknowns that the usual lot on here will be doing their best to 'big up'.

Don't worry though...on this board...come transfer deadline day....the time to judge Venkys will be....January.

How so, Raul would have had a pretty low fee due to his age and it could well be wages the reason he doesn't want to come.

And even if I did agree it showed Venky's willingness to splash the cash they are only willing to do it global household 'marquee' names who will improve their brand name/advertising. They aren't willing to spend on the lesser known players regardless of how much they would improve the squad.

Could have rejected us due to the fact that hes in europe with a decent team in a world class stadium in a decent domestic comp and doesnt want to uproot again and has made amends with manager after their apparent fall out. And nothing to do with the fact we are blackburn rovers as we are right now

Don't know if he has rejected us. See arsenal as example. They player wants to stay. We don't want the player to go. The player is staying. The money is right the player is moving.

I am not sure this is dead. Raul wants to go... Maybe not to rovers though

Only thing that puts me of Raul is age and his monster wages. He defo has the talent but I suspect when push comes to shove Venkys will bottle it. As has been said by other people I would rather have 3 or 4 squad players than Raul.

Is this post also available in English?

just been phoned by someone.. telling me he's heard someone has been at rovers today... to discuss a move.. but think im too gutted to be bothered to chase it up!
