Pitty, he got banned and then joined and made out he was a journo called ben maxwell who worked for the BBC. Also got ever so upset when his IP address proved he was sat at home after claiming to be at ewood.

Interesting that this section is members only and he's managed to read it so I guess we're on the lookout for another duplicate account ;)

If also once claimed we needed to build a new stadium, his logic? We would get lots more fans in attracted to a shiny new ground. The guy has never even been to ewood and is comedy gold, surprised there is a site left he hasn't been banned from.

The more I read, the more it seems like Schalke are waiting for us (or anyone) to Just bid more money. Probably the first time this window I feel confident about getting a player.

Raphael Honigstein reckons Schalke won't drive a hard bargain as they wouldn't mind having him off the wage budget. (£100k p/w)

They should just build a tower for the cameras on the riverside so it looks better on tv at least, or put a row of big HD screens on top of it showing people complaining about MGP (to make it look realistic) so it looks like a bigger stand

Agree, I have had so many non-Rovers mates ask me why everyone leaves with 10 minutes to go. I have tried explaining it's just the people in Riverside, and that the stand you can't see is much nicer...

It is not that Raul decided not 2 go to Blackburn. He wanted 2 but club didnt let him go/Raul quería ir al Blackburn pero el club no le deja

if this is going to happen it has to happen now, the guy is already 34, and if we sign him in january he will be 6 months of 35. i have my beliefs though that this will go until the final day, Schalke will accept a last day bid.

Suprised we havn't been linked to Trezeguet, maybe one of the free transfers mentioned? Swansea & Spurs both linked.

Have banged on about Trezeguet all summer. had a great season at a relegated side last year. Perfect target man and knows where the net is. Granted he's 34, so prob only get a season or 2 at most but come on - Roberts or Trezeguet?

That would be incredible. Much rather him than Raul, tall and strong with a cracking shot. Also wouldn't mind Amauri either, he showed he still can play on loan at Parma last year.

Not really transfer chat but people leave all the stands early, on the Riverside the exit is the front so it is obvious. I suppose I'm stating the obvious though, that and the club is about the fans, not how the ground looks ;)

Mind you, I'll be much happier when we actually have some more signings to discuss properly. There have been so many names suggested and disappeared that I'm feeling like the child who is taken round Harrods at Christmas to be shown all the toys and then be told we're off to the Pound Shop for the Christmas presents .......

Agreed! You, and a little earlier, BPF have summed it up perfectly! I've recently moved to the other side of the world and this morning I caught up with this thread. Raul went from signing to not in the space of a few clicks. How utterly disappointing! MUUUUUMMMMMMMMMM!!!! YOU PROMISED!!!!! :o

Parker is still at West Ham, why has nobody put a bid in for the player of the season in the PL.

Doubt we will because he is not under 22 or over 34, but would be a great signing.

Just surprised he is still there.
